🌍 Today is World Youth Skills Day, and this year’s UN theme — youth empowerment through AI and digital skills — couldn’t be more timely. At Randstad, we know the future of work belongs to young talent. But to shape it, they need equitable access to the tools, training, and opportunities that will help them thrive in a digital world. 💻✨ 📊 According to our global research: 63% of Gen Z believe AI will make their jobs easier, yet only 45% say they’ve received AI training from their employers. This matters because AI is already transforming the world of work. Closing the digital skills gap isn’t only about inclusion; it’s essential to solving talent scarcity and building a resilient global workforce. That’s why we’re proud of our teams worldwide who are investing in youth learning, digital skilling and development through initiatives like: 🌍 At Randstad Italia, the Randstad Box in Italy offers personalized learning and career guidance for youth not in education, employment or training, including AI and digital literacy, CV writing, and coaching sessions to support their reintegration into the labor market. 🎓 Randstad Australia has collaborated with the University of Sydney through the Industry and Community Project Unit program, helping students gain real-world experience and global perspectives in digitized work environments. 💡 Randstad Argentina partners with Potrero Digital to deliver employability workshops, and continued its collaboration with UNICEF to run training sessions and a masterclass for job-seeking youth. 💙 Randstad Belgium continues to grow its employability program and Randstad Young Talents, helping school leavers with tailored career orientation, digital skills, and future-focused coaching. 🌊 And in Tanzania, through our long-standing partnership with VSO, the Boosting the Blue Economy (BBE) project equips coastal youth — particularly women and people with disabilities — with essential employability skills, from entrepreneurship training to digital skills and career guidance, enhancing their access to blue economy opportunities and fostering sustainable economic growth.
