Le Cercle de Confiance Espace (CCE), lancé début 2025, a été officiellement lancé lors de l'International Paris Air Show au Bourget, avec la signature de plus de 30 partenaires qui s'engagent aux côtés de l'Armée de l’air et de l’espace CS GROUP in SPACE s'engage à apporter son expertise dans le spatial de défense, afin de participer aux réflexions sur les opérations spatiales militaires de demain et de mettre en place des collaborations efficaces avec les acteurs majeurs du secteur. 𝐔𝐩 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥-6 – 𝐀𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐀𝐁𝐆 In June, four of our colleagues had the opportunity to visit 𝐈𝐀𝐁𝐆 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧 and get an up-close look 🔍 at 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥-6𝐁 🛰️. This experience really brought the planned launch at the end of 2025 to life. Sentinel-6B, as the follow-up to Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, is part of the 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 and will continue the mission of delivering ultra-precise measurements of sea surface height 🌊. This data is essential to tracking long-term changes in our oceans and understanding the effects of climate change 🌡️ on global sea levels — a mission with truly global impact 🌐. The visit featured a detailed and engaging presentation. The level of interest and enthusiasm from ESA colleagues across various teams reflected how meaningful this mission is across the board. 👏 The 𝐈𝐀𝐁𝐆 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭 for answering every question with clarity and passion. It was exciting to stand just metres away from Sentinel-6, which is now ready to be shipped for launch 🚀 and will soon orbit Earth. 🎁 A surprise glimpse of 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥-2𝐃 was a bonus added to the excitement! Seeing Sentinel-2D up close was a reminder of the wide-reaching impact of Earth observation missions. A big 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 to our colleague 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐱 for the insightful tour and for sharing your expertise with us! 💖 The following day, we dived into a 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐤 🌡️ 🌐 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 led by our colleague Juliette Mollard. Together, we explored the science behind climate change, reflected on our individual impact, and discussed how we as a company can 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 ♻️. 🚀 🏅 CS Group has been selected by ESA to develop the EO Virtual Constellation (SensorWeb) concept ! 🌍 In Earth Observation, the growing need for real-time decision-making and optimized data acquisition is driving the rise of onboard intelligence.   💻 Thanks to AI and ML, a new generation of smart satellites is emerging — capable of enhanced autonomy, dynamic tasking, and low-latency data exchange.   CS Group will work on innovative components leveraging both spacecraft and ground assets, starting with a Proof of Concept focused on natural risks and flood monitoring in the Danube region and beyond.   This activity, led by ESA PhiLab, will demonstrate the value of a distributed network of smart sensors in space and on Earth — operating as a coordinated virtual instrument.   🌟 We’re proud to take part in this pioneering initiative and thank ESA for their trust.
