Appointment: Stéphanie Limouzin Becomes President of CLS Group With the appointment of Stéphanie Limouzin as President, CLS reaffirms its ambitions: accelerating international growth, strengthening its technological leadership, and consolidating its role as a French space pioneer serving the planet. Vision, commitment, and sustainability will be the cornerstones of this new governance. 👉 After more than 15 years of dedication to the company, Stephanie Limouzin, Executive VP since 2024, has become President of CLS Group. 👩🎓 An alumna of Montpellier SupAgro, she joined CLS (Collecte Localisation Satellites) in 2009, following 9 years at ALCIMED, a consulting firm specialized in innovation and emerging markets in sectors such as life sciences, energy, aerospace, and defense. 🛰️ At CLS, she began as project coordinator for European space oceanography programs, and in 2012 was appointed head of the Space Oceanography Department, leading a team of 80 scientists and engineers. 🚀 In 2017, she took over the Energy & Mining division, before becoming Vice-President Sales & Business Development in 2018. In 2022, she was awarded the title of Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur for her exemplary career. As Executive VP, since 2024, she has overseen the Group’s operations, uniting 1,000 employees across 31 sites worldwide and generating more than €200M in revenue. On July 1st, 2025, Stéphanie Limouzin officially succeeded Christophe Vassal as President of CLS. Mieux connaître nos territoires pour mieux les préserver Chez CLS, nous sommes fiers de contribuer au projet OCSID (Occupation du Sol Interdépartementale), qui permet au département de l’Aude et des Pyrénées-Orientales de mieux comprendre l’occupation des sols, qu’il s’agisse de forêts, de zones agricoles, d’espaces naturels ou urbains. ❓ Pourquoi est-ce important ? Parce que suivre l’évolution des sols est essentiel pour prendre des décisions plus durables et responsables : préserver les milieux naturels, mieux planifier les aménagements, ou encore anticiper les impacts du changement climatique. 🌍 Pensé avec et pour les territoires, l’OCSID s’est développé grâce à un partenariat de financement solide réunissant 13 acteurs, parmi lesquels des départements, des agences d’urbanisme, la Région, l’État, l’Union européenne, ainsi que des utilisateurs et adhérents d’Open IG experts pour le suivi de la production. 🛰️ Le rôle de CLS : adapter et enrichir la donnée OCS GE (Occupation du sol Grande Echelle) National 21 puis réaliser la mise à jour 2012 à partir d’images aériennes et d’analyses expertes. Ces données offrent une vision claire et à jour, indispensable aux collectivités pour planifier l’avenir de façon éclairée et durable. Plus tôt ce mois-ci, nous avons participé à une présentation avec OPenIG et l’Agence d’urbanisme catalane pour partager l’origine du projet, notre méthode de production, et un premier retour d’usage concret sur le terrain.
