Struggled with DSA as a Backend Developer — Considering a Switch to Data Analyst. Is This the Right Move?
I’ve been working as a backend web developer, and for the past year, I dedicated myself to learning Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). Despite giving it my all, I couldn’t get a proper grasp of it — I genuinely struggled to understand the concepts. To add some context, I’m from a BCA not a engineering background, so DSA has been particularly tough for me to crack. Still, I didn’t give up easily — I tried for a whole year, but it just didn’t click. That said, I don’t want to stop growing in my career just because I failed at something. I’ve done some self-reflection and research, and I feel drawn toward the field of Data Analytics. Before getting into backend development, I worked in operations, where I used to interact with clients, gather requirements, and pass them on to the tech team. So, I already have some exposure to data and communication. Combining that with my coding background, I believe I can bring value as a Data Analyst. I know I failed with DSA, but I’m ready to give 100% again — this time in a field that aligns more with how I think and work. Does this career switch make sense? Has anyone here gone through something similar? I’d really appreciate any advice or honest thoughts.

I had marketing internships but now i am scared to do tech ones. Any advice?
I am an IT senior but my resume is more business-centered focus since I am not a technical type of person. I hate coding but lately, I want to dive into non-tech roles with minimal coding or like other branches of IT but I chickened out. Some of the requirements like python code development. I do not have that skillset. Should I still apply and learn from the internship? or should I beefed up my resume first? Some roles I am interested in: business analyst, project management, product development or ui/ux design.

Hello everyone, I am a high school student and I have recently become interested in programming. How can I meet a new partner or coach for free for competitive programming?
So in Indonesia, there is an event called OSN or School National Olympiad. There are many divisions, including Informatics which is about competitive programming. It seems for me that learning from just a teacher from my school or using external online resources feels not enough. I need a partner to be my friend on this journey or a coach to mentor me. And it will be even better if they are from outside of Indonesia.

How do you go about reading language documentation?
A common piece of advice given to understand and write code is to read the documentation or library. However, when I try to get started, there's a lot of information to get through and I don't know where to navigate to. Another related question is, is it better to read through the documentation to get the gist of the language for example python, or to refer back to whilst writing code?
