What does it feel like to grow up Jewish or Muslim today? What is it like to walk to school, apply for a job, speak your truth? This week, ODIHR created a space for those voices to be heard. We held a series of roundtable discussions — where everyone can speak and we listen — with young Jews and Muslims to explore the challenges they face, and the futures they want to build. The conversations were raw, real, and hopeful. That’s what usually happens when people are given space to speak — and are truly heard. These safe spaces are part of ODIHR's broader mission: promoting dialogue and supporting the next generation to build a better world, free from intolerance and hatred. 📸 Photos thanks to Tenshi Lau #NoToHate #Tolerance

You can’t prosecute what you can’t see. That’s why we have invited 12 experienced prosecutors from across the OSCE region to ODIHR for training this week. Over four days, they are sharing ideas, testing strategies, and practising how to train other prosecutors — passing on the skills to recognise and prosecute hate crime in their own legal systems. And all this is taking place only a week after similar training for law enforcement professionals. Any questions about hate crime? Ask in the comments and our experts will be happy to engage 🙏 #HateCrime #RuleOfLaw

What makes a security system fair and trusted? It’s not just about equipment or enforcement — it’s about oversight that monitors, reports, and includes everyone. This week, in Warsaw, ODIHR is holding two-day training, where, together with representatives from the national human rights institution and other security oversight bodies, we’re looking at how to: ✅ Include gender perspectives in oversight and reporting ✅ Monitor fairly and respond sensitively to complaints ✅ Use tools like trauma-informed interviews to improve practice PS. Curious? Drop your questions in the comments — we love a good conversation (especially the ones that lead to #CHANGE and stronger #GenderEquality 😊)
