[ ✈️ #ATM News ] 🤝 A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between THE CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY OF MONGOLIA, National Civil Aviation Center of Mongolia, Bpifrance, Thales, and ENAC - Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile, to enhance Mongolia’s aviation capabilities through strategic cooperation. 🇲🇳 This marks a significant milestone as Mongolia celebrates 100 years of civil aviation operations, in addition to its 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations with France. Thales is the only European company to have designed a security module that integrates all functions, including security and navigation, into an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit), which was accredited by the French authorities in May 2025. Thales's Galileo PRS Core Module enables the reception of the Galileo PRS signal and is unique in its size (2.36" x 2.36" x 0.28"), weight (50 g) and power consumption (<2 W). The Thales Galileo PRS Core Module is designed for EU companies seeking an easy-to-integrate, standardized Galileo PRS module with which to develop their own GNSS receivers. Its ability to be integrated into third-party receivers has already been successfully demonstrated in France to support all French platforms. It is modular and a plug-and-play solution, enabling an easy switch to Galileo OS for end users who have not yet been granted access to Galileo PRS.   It was recently presented during the 15th anniversary of the Security Accreditation Board (SAB) in Prague, where it generated significant interest among participating officials and companies.
