Today, Roquette had the privilege of hosting the Director General and team from Association Nationale des Industries Alimentaires (ANIA), the French National Association of Food Industries ‒ alongside USIPA - Ingrédients du végétal, the esteemed French starch industry association, which we proudly chair ‒ at our Lestrem site in the north of France. 🌱 The visit was a great opportunity to spotlight the often-underestimated role of primary processors in converting French-grown crops into functional, plant-based ingredients that bridge the gap between agriculture and final food and nutrition products we enjoy daily. 🏭 At our site in Lestrem which is also the largest biorefinery in Europe, we process several million tons of agricultural raw materials every year, almost entirely of French origin. Half of our production serves the food and beverage sector, with over 75% of production being exported. This industrial performance supports France and Europe’s food sovereignty, export capacity, and the global reputation of its agri-food industry ‒ a sector that we are proud to represent and help strengthen every day. Remaining competitive means ensuring the right conditions: affordable energy, supportive regulation, and full recognition of the strategic value of starch ingredients. 🚀 Exciting news from Roquette as we launch our Safety Leadership Program, reflecting our commitment to health and safety, which is deeply embedded in our DNA.   Part of the CARE for people platform within our life+nature sustainable development program, this initiative targets all management levels, from senior leaders to supervisors, aiming to cultivate a people-focused, sustainable safety culture.  Our first session at the Lestrem, France, site brought together participants to explore a new approach for enhancing safety leadership within their teams.   As Nicolas Léglise, Head of Corporate HSE at Roquette, stated, “The health and safety of our employees is at the core of our priorities. The Safety Leadership Program is about embodying leadership daily through rigorous practices and recognizing everyone's contribution, ultimately strengthening our safety prevention culture.”  🌍 Looking forward, other sessions are planned for 2025, with a full rollout across Roquette beginning 2026.  #LifeNatureByRoquette #LifeAtRoquette #Safety

🌏 On June 27, close to 40 employees and interns from Roquette in Singapore came together at East Coast Park for a beach and park cleanup – supporting the 2025 World Environment Day theme of “Beat Plastic Pollution.” 🌊 According to the UNESCO Ocean Literacy project, plastic makes up 80% of marine pollution. Every effort to reduce single-use plastics can contribute to a global impact. Equipped with gloves, tongs, and trash bags, the team collected litter and under 2.5 hours later, our employee volunteers gathered 19 bags of litter or close to 100 kg in weight – much of it related to food packaging. 🚮 By removing waste from the shoreline, our employee volunteers are helping to protect marine ecosystems and promote a cleaner, healthier environment for all. Beyond the physical clean-up, performing this community activity as one team helped foster a deeper understanding of environmental responsibility – allowing our volunteers to internalize the meaningful impact of their actions.  Roquette actively engages employees through hands-on initiatives, awareness campaigns, and volunteer opportunities in the communities we are a part of.  👏 A big thank to our team in Singapore for helping to preserve the planet, a key part of our life+nature sustainability program. #LifeNatureByRoquette #PreserveThePlanet #Sustainability #WeAreRoquette
