From boulevard Saint-Germain to New Delhi.. For the first time, Diptyque is establishing a presence in India and has chosen the Chanakya Mall in the capital, New Delhi, as the location for its inaugural boutique on the continent. Summoning both the charming Parisian interiors and the opulence and cultural richness of Indian palaces, the boutique’s two rooms feature the stucco typical of Haussmann apartments, warmed by bright, Indian-inspired colors, including a pink upper frieze, also hand-painted, which melds into the green ceiling. A play on colors and materials, creating countless contrasts and surprises, the Chanakya Mall boutique is the perfect place to indulge the imagination for a moment of complete wanderlust. The diptyque story began in Paris at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain with, at its heart, three friends driven by the same creative passion. Christiane Gautrot was an interior designer, Desmond Knox-Leet, a painter, and Yves Coueslant, a theater director and set designer. The first two collaborated designing fabrics and wallpaper for Liberty and Sanderson. They were joined by the third in 1961 and opened a shop to display their designs. Yves became the administrator and consultant; Desmond and Christiane were the artistic soul. Bit by bit, with finely honed taste, the trio transformed the site into a one-of-a-kind setting, a kind of stylish bazaar where one found surprising articles unmatched in Paris, mined and conveyed home by the trio over the course of their travels.

Diptyque is delighted to introduce its new boutique in Geneva, the very first one in Switzerland. Divided into three parts, the boutique puts visitors immediately at ease. Combining the charm of Parisian interior design with local decorative traditions, it pairs Haussmannian moldings with the paneling and wooden furniture typical of Swiss chalets. To the left of the space, a large colorful abstract fresco inspired by the Diptyque archives and created by the Redfield & Dattner duo catches the eye. Circularité : La Maison Diptyque franchit un nouveau pas avec le réemploi des flacons de parfums. Du 30 juin au 31 octobre, les clientes et clients des cinq adresses parisiennes et des boutiques de Toulouse, Aix-en-Provence, Lyon et Lille pourront rapporter leurs flacons vides en points de vente (Eaux de parfums 75ml et Eaux de toilette 100ml, hors éditions limitées). Ces derniers rejoindront ensuite un centre spécialisé pour être triés, lavés et séchés. Après un contrôle qualité attentif, en accord avec un cahier des charges exigeant, Diptyque étudiera les différentes possibilités de réemploi de ces flacons, afin de garantir le scénario de seconde vie le plus pertinent. Ce projet pilote est porté par une coalition inédite en France, réunissant cinq marques de parfums et deux distributeurs sélectifs, formée avec le soutien de We Don't Need Roads , Circul'R et Citeo. Un engagement collectif ambitieux, basée sur l’expérimentation et l’apprentissage, qui vise à : initier une réflexion commune autour de boucles circulaires nouvelles pour le parfum ; tester la faisabilité technique et opérationnelle du réemploi par la mutualisation des moyens d’action ; engager tous les acteurs de la filière, et notamment les clientes et clients dans une initiative concrète et plus vertueuse. En cohérence avec l'ambition de la Maison de réduire l’empreinte environnementale de ses créations, cette expérimentation du réemploi des flacons vient renforcer une offre de recharge et de recyclage déjà disponible en boutiques. Une étape supplémentaire visant à dessiner de nouveaux horizons pour nos parfums : plus durables et responsables. __ Circularity: Diptyque takes a stride forward with the reuse of its fragrance bottles. From 30 June to 31 October, customers at our five Paris locations and our boutiques in Toulouse, Aix-en-Provence, Lyon and Lille will be able to return their empty bottles to the points of sale (75ml eaux de parfum and 100ml eaux de toilette, excluding limited editions). The collected bottles will then be sent to a specialised centre to be sorted, washed and dried. After thorough quality control in compliance with strict specifications, Diptyque will assess the various options for giving these bottles the most suitable second life. This pilot project is led by a unique coalition in France bringing together five perfume brands and two prestige distributors, with the support of We Don't Need Roads ,Circul'R and Citeo. This ambitious collective learning experiment aims to: · explore new circular models in perfumery through joint reflection · test the technical and operational feasibility of reuse by pooling resources · engage all stakeholders in the sector, including customers, in a concrete circular initiative.
