DIAMONDS ASTROCLOCK. A genuine watchmaking sculpture, 2 years of work were required for the CHANEL Manufacture to complete this masterpiece, including 750 hours of stone setting and goldsmithing. Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s astrological sign, its base encases a lion in 18K white gold entirely hand set with 5037 diamonds: stones meticulously positioned according to a setting motif imagined by Arnaud Chastaingt, Director of the CHANEL Watch Creation Studio. Under the glass globe, a mechanical movement with sophisticated details is revealed, along with a comet in 18K white gold to indicate the hours and the lion constellation for the minutes. A unique piece reuniting the House’s symbols. Discover on https://lnkd.in/es-yAkiv #LionDeCHANEL #CHANELHauteHorlogerie

After a major renovation project supported by the long-standing patronage of the House, the GrandPalaisRmn in Paris — a privileged backdrop of CHANEL shows for decades — was inaugurated on June 19th 2025 with the unveiling of a monumental curtain between its centre and the nave. Made of seventy ornemental panels in hues of reseda green as a tribute to the outstanding architecture of the glass-roofed building, this ornemental piece designed by Studio MTX and crafted by all the other Maisons d’art residing at le19M is an invitation to rediscover this Parisian institution. le19M is a place of heritage and creation, dedicated to passing on the Métiers d’art of fashion and decoration. It is the culmination of a process that CHANEL began in the 1980s to preserve savoir-faire. Since 2021, le19M has brought together 11 Maisons d’art as well as an embroidery school, forming a one-of-a-kind community of 700 artisans and experts, with 29 Métiers d’art recognised by the INMA institute. CHANEL is proud to announce its support of the Comédie-Française, an artistic Parisian landmark renowned in France and abroad since its foundation in 1680. Today, this prestigious institution programmes 900 performances a year intertwining classic and contemporary theatre, thanks to 450 employees orchestrated by Éric Ruf, its general administrator since 2014: “Longstanding houses have in their common DNA a capacity to reinvent themselves endlessly without erasing their original equation. This continuity in motion is the secret of their longevity. Thinking that both the houses of CHANEL and the Comédie-Française reflect one another makes me happy.” By forging new ties with the Comédie-Française, the House continues Gabrielle Chanel’s deep interest in the dramatic arts. Among many projects with artists throughout her carrier — starting with her first hats designed for theatre actresses — her close collaboration with playwright Jean Cocteau led her to create stage costumes for five of his plays, from 1922 to 1937. Grand Patron of the Grand Palais in Paris since 2023, the House reaffirms its commitment to major cultural institutions fostering artistic legacy and creative effervescence, in a continuous dialogue between fashion and performing arts.
