We're excited to share that the University of Portsmouth has just become an official Training Partner of INTERPOL. We will be working with them on a range of educational initiatives to build law enforcement capacity worldwide. To kick start the collaboration, the INTERPOL Global Academy recently hosted a group of students from the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice - University of Portsmouth at INTERPOL headquarters in Lyon, France. During their visit, the students gained valuable insights into the critical work of INTERPOL and how we connect police forces worldwide to combat transnational crime. They learned about our operations and field deployments and biometrics capabilities, and strategies for tackling complex global threats, from counter-terrorism and human trafficking to environmental crime. They also looked at the legal framework underpinning our work. This opportunity not only supported their academic pursuits but also provided them with a deeper understanding of the importance of international cooperation in keeping our communities safe. We're committed to fostering the next generation of law enforcement professionals and are proud to collaborate with esteemed institutions like the University of Portsmouth. By sharing our expertise and experience, we aim to empower these students to make a meaningful impact in their future careers and contribute to a safer, more secure world. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the University of Portsmouth and exploring new ways to shape the future of law enforcement together! #INTERPOL #INTERPOLTraining
