Last month, the Givaudan Perfumery School hosted a 2-week ‘2025 Evaluation Training Programme’, gathering 25 Givaudan Junior Evaluators from 15 countries! Devised by teams across Consumer Products, Fine Fragrance Management and the School itself, the intensive programme was designed to enhance participants’ formal evaluation skills whilst facilitating connections within the team. From perfumer-led workshops to smelling sessions at the European and Fine Fragrance Creative Centres, the agenda featured a series of engaging, expert-led activities on topics such as technology, olfactory families, the history of scent and further insights into evaluation. As Givaudan’s Category Director, Home Care, Anne Sophie Poulard reflects, “It was fantastic to witness the development of the next generation of fragrance evaluators! We’d like to extend our thanks to the experts who partook in the programme, alongside Perfumery School Coordinator and Executive, Huong Philippe, Global Head of Development Fragrance and Beauty, Verena Nikoleyczik and Global Head of Fine Fragrance Development, North America, Geraldine Nicolai for their combined support.” With Felix Mayr-Harting, Calice Becker, Beat Studinger
