- Now, let's talk about the end user's experience working with Jira projects. Now, the Word project is probably the most confused word in all of Jira. I tell my users to think of a project as a container for all their team's initiatives, tasks, and to do-items. In Jira, projects organize work. There are different project types for different types of effort. The different types each have their own features and abilities. Here's what you and end users should know. Projects are containers for related Jira issues. They help organize work. Yo see the projects list, click Projects in the main nav, then select View All Projects. This is the projects page and the ones you have access to are displayed. Don't see a project you expected? It might be a permissions issue.
