- Next we'll explore a project's high level settings. These simple features make projects easier to identify and find. So far, we've explored a lot of project settings on the summary page. Now let's explore the details page. Click details on the left sidebar. This page contains some simple settings that help users identify and categorize projects. First, you can change the icon that represents the project. I try to choose a unique icon when possible. JIRA comes with a few stock images to choose from, or you can upload your own. Next is the project's unique name and key. Your project name and key are critical attributes to help users identify projects. A best practice is to make the project's name similar to its key.
