- In this section, we'll tour the different customer permission settings so you can select the best options for your organization. The customer permissions page under the Access section contains options for who can access requests and how they can be shared. Here's a tip, some settings pages have form submission buttons, and some don't. I know you've heard me say it before. Always scroll down to the bottom of the page to see if a button needs to be clicked. On this page, for example, the button is grayed out until you change a selection above. At the top of the page, use the Channel access dropdown to determine who can submit requests in this service project. Open means anyone, and restricted means only users who are specifically invited. At the bottom of the page, use the options under the Customer sharing header to determine how customers can find and share requests with each other.
