- There's more to user management than just adding and removing users. In this section, we'll discuss managing user access requests, and I'll share my checklist for handling departing users. There are many potential user management responsibilities. In cloud, administrators can invite users, request password resets, grant access to one or more products, add and manage group membership, and they're responsible for suspending user access, removing users, and troubleshooting permissions. As I mentioned previously, I recommend suspending user access, instead of removing users. This way, you keep the history of the user's actions for the audit trail. A suspended user cannot log in and/or are not included in your licensed user bill. The user management duties are similar in server and data center.
