- Now, we'll use Jira's Look and feel settings to customize the appearance of the application. Here's an example of some look and feel settings. I change in my test environment so I don't confuse it with production. First, the application's URL is already different so that's helpful. Next, I add an announcement banner stating the name of the environment. This shows up on most Jira pages. Next, I change the name of the application's title from Jira to Sandbox. Finally, I change the highlight color to something that's different than a default or any common company brand color.
