Adding fields to screens
- Now it's time to add the custom fields that we created in an earlier section to the software project for our course use case. We created a new custom multi-select field called Strategy and a single user picker field called Business Owner. First, we need to understand the current screen configuration in our example software project. From the summary page, in our project settings area, Scroll down to the screen section, then click on the name of the issue type screen scheme. On the next page, expand the screen schemes to see their settings. We can see that this project's issue type screen scheme contains one screen scheme for bugs and another for all other issue types. The first screen scheme has one screen that's used for all issue actions. The second screen scheme has a different screen that's also used for all actions for bugs. The custom fields we created don't really apply to bugs, so we'll only add those fields to the screen in the first scheme. Click on its name to open it. On…
