Adding conditions - Jira Tutorial
From the course: Complete Guide to Jira Administration: Configuration, Management, and Automation
Adding conditions
- [Instructor] Conditions are used to further refine or segment issues impacted by rules. They determine the scope of a rule, and how much data is impacted. The amount of data could be determined by a JQL statement, with an IF or ELSE clause, by a specific value in an issue field, and more. Here's the list of condition options. A rule can have one, many, or no conditions. See the documentation for some example condition use cases. In our use case, there's no need for a condition, because we want to send a notification every time a request is created, no matter what.
