You can mute a conversation to stop receiving notifications for new messages, mentions, and message reactions.
To mute a conversation:

Click the
Messaging icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.- You can also click on the messaging conversation window at the lower-right corner of your LinkedIn homepage.

Open a conversation.

Click the
More icon in the upper-right corner of the conversation. -
Click Mute. You’ll see a Muted icon next to the conversation in the message list.
To unmute a conversation:

Select the muted conversation from the message list.

Click the
More icon in the upper-right corner of the conversation. -
Click Unmute.
To mute a conversation:

Tap the
Messaging icon in the upper right. -
Swipe left on the conversation.

More. -
Tap
Mute. You’ll see a Muted icon next to the conversation in the message list.
To unmute a conversation:

Select the muted conversation from the message list.

Swipe left on the conversation.

More. -
Tap Unmute.
