Mute or unmute a conversation in LinkedIn Messaging

You can mute a conversation to stop receiving notifications for new messages, mentions, and message reactions.

To mute a conversation:

  1. Click the  Messaging icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.

    • You can also click on the messaging conversation window at the lower-right corner of your LinkedIn homepage.
  2. Open a conversation.

  3. Click the   More icon in the upper-right corner of the conversation.

  4. Click Mute. You’ll see a Muted icon next to the conversation in the message list.

To unmute a conversation:

  1. Select the muted conversation from the message list.

  2. Click the   More icon in the upper-right corner of the conversation.

  3. Click Unmute.
