Manage group chat notification settings in LinkedIn Messaging

You can manage how you want to be notified about activity in a group chat. You can choose from all activity, only mentions, or mute notifications completely. By default, notifications are set to all activity.

This feature is only available on the LinkedIn mobile app.

To manage notifications for a group chat:

  1. Tap the   Messaging icon in the upper right.

  2. Open the group chat.

  3. Tap the More icon in the upper right.

  4. Tap Notification settings.

  5. From the overlay menu, choose one of the following:

    • All activity: Get notified for every message in the group chat.
    • Only mentions: Get notified only when someone mentions you.
    • Mute notifications: Turn off all notifications for the group chat.
