Search for content in Learning
Use the
To run a search on your desktop:

Enter keywords in the search bar at the top of any Learning page.

Choose a suggestion from the dropdown as you type, or click the
Search icon to view all results.

Sort results using the dropdown in the right corner. You can sort by:
- Best match
- View count
- Newest
Here's a tip
You can apply multiple filters at once.
Use quotation marks to search for an exact phrase (e.g., "soft skills").
To run a search on your mobile device:

Filter search results
Use filters in the left pane of the results page to narrow your search. You can filter by:
- Content by: Choose between LinkedIn Learning’s catalog or content added by your organization (if your license is provided by your company).
- Type: Filter by courses, videos, learning paths, or links.
- Level: Select beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
- Time to complete: Choose content that fits your schedule.
- Software: Focus on tools or platforms you want to learn.
- Custom tags: View content tagged by your organization (enterprise learners only).
- Source: Limit results to content from your LMS (Enterprise learners only).
To filter Search results on your mobile device:

From the Search results page, tap Filter in the upper-right corner (Android only).

Choose from the following filters:
- Content by: Filter by LinkedIn Learning or your organization’s content.
- Type: Choose courses, videos, learning paths, or links.
- Level: Select beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
- Time to complete: Filter by duration.
- Software: Focus on specific tools or platforms.
- Subjects & topics: Choose content by subject area.
- Custom tags: View content tagged by your organization (enterprise learners only).
- Continuing Education Units: Filter by NASBA, PMI, SHRM, HRCI, IIBA, or CompTIA.
- Source: Limit to LMS content (enterprise learners only).

Tap Done to apply your filters (Android only).
Preview a course (desktop only)
Click Summarize key learnings or Is this course a good fit for me? to launch an AI-powered preview. It gives you:
- A summary of what the course covers
- How it applies to your role
- Who it’s designed for
- Any skills you may need beforehand
