32 out of our 47 Gable Grant recipients have reported that they are supporting second-chance learners. Today we’re celebrating Gable Grant Recipient Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s commitment to second-chance learners and their recent graduation class milestone! Students earned both their high school equivalency diplomas and college credentials, including Commercial & Residential Construction certificates, through a powerful program at MGCCC. What a pleasure it was to hear from LaToya Faustin, CEO of Gable Grant recipient, She Built This City, at #LFBuildingFutures this week. As the leader of a trailblazing nonprofit in North Carolina, Latoya brought a powerful perspective on building pathways for women in skilled trades. We also had the chance to roll up our sleeves to build 647 beds alongside Sleep in Heavenly Peace!
