How are AI-enabled robotics already helping manufacturers develop new solutions? Building with Intrinsic, NEWSTON delivered an intelligent robotics solution to help Bürkert Fluid Control Systems automate a precise but traditionally time-consuming quality-control inspection process that involves individually scanning each product by hand with a speciality scanner. We demonstrated this optical inspection solution for the first time at #Automatica2025. Last week at automatica, it was great to be part of the Intrinsic team as we shared our progress at shaping the future of intelligent industrial automation. Our booth featured live demos of an AI-enabled CNC tending machine and showcased how our robotics platform is making it possible for solutions builders to develop and deploy intelligent, flexible, and adaptive solutions today. Some of these technologies will appear to be quite familiar — but in terms of their underlying technology, our approach is already operationalizing AI in a truly productized and scalable way. It's exciting for all of us to share the real-world impact we're already seeing, and to continue to build for the future with Intrinsic. Thank you again to all of our partners as we work together — and the entire Intrinsic team for showcasing our momentum to support the industry through AI-enabled robotics. And thank you as well to my fellow panelists Katharina Jessa, Jens Kotlarski, Armin Barnitzke, and Markus Strehlitz for our rich discussion in a closing panel over how flexible robotics can enable enterprises of all sizes to take advantage of automation. It was also a great pleasure to see so many of YOU during the entire week. The "automatica Energy" had such a great vibe, and you could feel that something new is happening. I'm looking forward to all the progress we'll see as an industry before the next automatica! Congratulations to all the winning teams announced at the IEEE / Computer Vision Foundation #CVPR2025 conference — and a big thank you to everybody who participated in OpenCV's Perception Challenge for Bin-Picking. We were pleased to sponsor this year's challenge and inspired by the skills shown in developing pose estimation solutions. Read about the winners here: https://lnkd.in/gyqgKWuW

As #Automatica2025 comes to a close in Munich, Intrinsic extends a sincere thank you to everyone who came by our booth to meet our team and experience our live demonstrations. It was such a pleasure to discuss our cutting-edge capabilities brought to life and to showcase new solutions built with Intrinsic, including a livestream from the NEWSTON booth across the hall. Our Thursday morning began with a keynote discussion focused on Digitales Ökosystem für KI-basierte Robotik (RoX) and how a more collaborative ecosystem can simplify the use of AI and robotics in production and logistics, featuring Michael Suppa (Co-Founder and CEO, Roboception GmbH) and Rainer Bischoff (General Manager Germany, Intrinsic). Back at our booth, Brian Gerkey (CTO, Intrinsic, who also co-founded Open Robotics) explained why an extensible platform — not just standalone algorithms — is key to the future of robotics. He shared insight into Intrinsic's contributions to ROS and how our ecosystem investments make it easy for our partners to integrate into Intrinsic Flowstate using common ROS interfaces. With NEWSTON and Bürkert Fluid Control Systems demonstrating their Intrinsic solutions for the first time at automatica, we hosted booth talks: • Covering how they overcame the limitations of customization with a unique solution driven by AI-powered, robot-guided inspection, Yannick Kemp (Technical Program Manager, Intrinsic) hosted Gernot Sattelmayer (Head of Applications, NEWSTON), Anne März (Head of Digital Tool Chain, Bürkert Fluid Control Systems), and Mikhail Pak (Application Engineer, Intrinsic). • Exploring the vision we share for AI-powered robotics and the journey of building end-to-end solutions, Henrike Neulen (Business Development Manager, Intrinsic) led a discussion with Stefan Nusser (Chief Product and Commercial Officer, Intrinsic), Dr. Kai-Udo Modrich (CEO, NEWSTON), and Stefan Mueller (Chief Technology Officer, Bürkert Fluid Control Systems). Ending on a high note, Torsten Kroeger (Chief Science Officer, Intrinsic) joined a final panel keynote on the democratization of robotics with Katharina Jessa (Chief Revenue Officer, Wandelbots) and Jens Kotlarski (CEO, voraus robotik GmbH) — hosted by Armin Barnitzke and Markus Strehlitz from Konradin Mediengruppe — to discuss how small- and medium-sized enterprises can benefit from the advantages of automation through simple and flexible robotics.

#Automatica2025 continued on Wednesday in Munich with Simon Lapeyry, Head of Sales, Intrinsic delivering a booth talk covering how robotics companies that specialize in CNC machine tending can leverage AI capabilities and unleash a new era of flexible automation. The live demonstration of an AI-enabled CNC tending machine built with Intrinsic Intelligence alongside the booth talk, as well as other interactive demos, really brought our cutting-edge capabilities to life. Less than 10% of CNC machines shipped today are equipped with automation. This is because most solutions on the market are not flexible enough to handle high-mix low volumes. Intrinsic's recent work with MartinSystems and Trinity Robotics Automation serve as significant steps toward helping machine shops and fabricators achieve high-mix production with easy-to-use, flexible, easy-to-use solutions. Rainer Bischoff, General Manager Germany, Intrinsic continued this conversation around flexible automation in a panel discussion with Claus Martin, CEO, MartinSystems and Thomas Dietz, Solutions Product Manager, Intrinsic. Thomas Dietz also delivered a booth talk on intelligent productized automation, looking out toward new horizons for robotics — with Intrinsic enabling automation products that are inherently adaptable, user-friendly, and continuously improving. And Kartik Venkataraman explained how Intrinsic's AI-enabled solution for intelligent perception overcomes the limitations of traditional vision systems that struggle with objects of varying sizes and placements. Our keynotes and booth talks continue on Thursday and Friday, so please stop by our booth in Hall B4, Stand 310 at Messe Muenchen and follow Intrinsic here on LinkedIn for more automatica updates.
