    Leonard A. Lauder 1933 – 2025 We deeply mourn the passing of our brilliant and fearless leader, Leonard A. Lauder, Chairman Emeritus and beloved 'Chief Teaching Officer' of The Estée Lauder Companies. A visionary whose wisdom, kindness, and generosity shaped our industry and touched countless lives, Mr. Lauder’s legacy will forever guide and inspire us.   At Clinique, this loss is felt particularly deep. Mr. Lauder didn’t just believe in our brand—he imagined it into being. Clinique was born from his unique gift for bringing together remarkable teams and creating the future. As he wrote in his memoir: “Clinique wasn’t just a new line of skincare or makeup: it was an entirely new way of thinking about beauty.” That innovative way of thinking continues to define who we are today.     This week, we are thrilled to share Clinique and the Skin of Color Society Foundation (SOCSF) opened applications to The Dermatologists of Tomorrow Scholarship, a program created to broaden access to the specialty of dermatology.  The Dermatologists of Tomorrow Scholarship presented by Clinique and SOCSF provides financial support and mentorship to medical students who are committed to achieving health equity in their pursuit of a career in dermatology. Announced at the recent 21st Annual SOCS Scientific Symposium, Kelly Fanning, SVP Clinique North America, shared the joint focus of Clinique and SOCSF on supporting students and their educational endeavors by structuring a program to reduce the financial burden of applying for dermatology residency. In addition to financial aid, this program will also offer mentorship from dermatology professionals to enhance career development, the residency application process, and long-term success in the field, further demonstrating Clinique’s ongoing commitment to the dermatological community. A blend of ingredients that actually spark joy.   In fact, a third-party neurosensory study commissioned by Clinique found that 97% of women feel happy when they smell Happy.* That’s the power of science-backed cosmetics.   *Out of 72 women who were drawn to the scent after smelling it, Clinique commissioned a third-party neurosensory study to measure the conscious and subconscious emotional responses of women who demonstrated purchase intent.

    This weekend, Clinique was proud to attend the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting and deeply appreciated the opportunity to engage with the community of dermatologists, researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals from around the world.   During the multi-day event, Clinique presented the brand’s breakthrough serum innovations that address key dermatological concerns across hyperpigmentation, de-aging and hydration. Clinique's lead R&D expert led scientific sessions, showcasing the brand's powerful efficacy and rigorous safety standards, while exploring the science behind NEW Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Clearing Serum and NEW Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum.    At the booth, Clinique Educators engaged in conversations about Clinique’s simple solutions for remarkable skin results, in addition to providing services showcasing skincare and makeup.   See you in Denver next year as we continue our mission to create great skin. #Clinique #AAD2025

The expert led conversations demonstrated our dedication to supporting all skin.

    Michelle Freyre has been elevated to the role of Global Brand President, Clinique and Dermatological Brands. A highly respected brand leader with more than 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, Michelle has been elevated to the new role of Global Brand President, Clinique and Dermatological Brands, leading Clinique, Origins, and Dr.Jart+. Michelle will also lead the Global Dermatological strategy for The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. Since joining the Company in 2020 as SVP, General Manager, Clinique, Michelle has played a pivotal role in guiding the brand through a strategic pivot in returning to its authentic dermatological heritage, articulated in a modern way. This successful strategy – including a return to the top global dermatological conferences – along with other initiatives, has helped Clinique gain prestige beauty share in the U.S., its home market, for 8 consecutive months through the most-recently reported month of December. Michelle has also led Clinique makeup to accelerate growth globally, delivering FY-to-date double-digit organic net sales growth and growing the brand’s share in prestige makeup across all major Western markets. Under Michelle’s guidance, Clinique was the first brand in the Estée Lauder Companies portfolio to launch in the U.S. Amazon Premium Beauty Store, serving as a blueprint of success for other brands that have since launched storefronts. Most recently, Clinique expanded its presence to Amazon Canada, building on the momentum.     As a dermatologist guided brand, Clinique was honored to host a seminar at the 49th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Investigative Dermatology (JSID). This prestigious event provided the opportunity to connect with dermatologists from Japan and around the world, sharing insights into the latest advancements in addressing skin hyperpigmentation. Our featured speakers included Dr. Kenshi Yamasaki, Director of ALOOP Clinic and Lab, who shared his research on the underlying mechanisms of hyperpigmentation, and Dr. Tom Mammone, Vice President of Global Skin Physiology and Pharmacology at the Estee Lauder Companies. Dr. Mammone presented findings on UP302, an innovative tyrosinase inhibitor that is a key ingredient in Clinique’s NEW Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Clearing Serum. As a brand deeply rooted in dermatological expertise, Clinique values the opportunity to contribute to meaningful discussions in the vibrant dermatology community. Japan holds a special place as a heritage market in the Asia Pacific region, making our participation in JSID all the more significant. #Clinique
