About us

A purpose-driven company, Clariane is the leading European community for care in times of vulnerability.  Our Group’s purpose “To take care of each person’s humanity in times of vulnerability” is inspired by our three core values: trust, responsibility and initiative. With facilities at the heart of 700 cities and communities across six European countries, we are dedicated to standing alongside vulnerable individuals, ensuring our presence wherever they need us. Our expertise?  Delivering our Positive Care approach through 3 areas of activity: - Care homes – we care. - Healthcare facilites and services – we cure. - Shared living solutions – we welcome and enliven. Relying on their diverse expertise, each year, our community unites, trains and supports around 63,000 employees who provide services to over 890,000 patients and residents in three main areas of activity: long-term care (Korian, Seniors Residencias, etc.), specialty care (Inicea, Ita, Grupo 5, Lebenswert, etc.), and community care (Petits-fils, Âges et Vie...). In 2025, Clariane was awarded Top Employer certification in Europe and in each of the six countries where we operate: Germany (for the 5th consecutive year), France (for the 4th consecutive year), Belgium and Italy (for the 3rd consecutive years), and Spain and the Netherlands (for the 1st time). Our actions are guided every day by five key commitments: consideration, equity, innovation, proximity and sustainability. Our Clariane community: at your side, at every moment. #ClarianeAtYourSide #WeAreClariane #PurposeDrivenCompany

  • 🤝 How do to build a lasting 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 in a transforming company? As a purpose-driven company, we see social dialogue as much more than a compliance exercise. It is a key part of how we operate: rooted in the field, based on mutual respect and active listening, and aimed at finding pragmatic solutions that improve everyday life. From local initiatives to European-level agreements, we engage in open discussions with employee representatives to support our HR and transformation strategies, always with one objective in mind: the well-being of our teams and the quality of care we provide. Some recent milestones: ✔ 70% participation in our 2024 C-Pulse survey across Europe ✔ A new agreement in France on job and career management ✔ A European guide to best practices in absenteeism reduction ✔ A Europe-wide agreement on health and safety at work 🗣️ “Creating a culture of trust means listening and then taking action. At Clariane, every discussion supports the continuous improvement of working conditions. Social dialogue drives progress, supporting the company’s strategy and employees’ well-being at work.” Mathilde Tabary, Group Social Relations and Engagement Director #ClarianeAtYourSide #SocialDialogue #WorkplaceWellbeing #HRStrategy #EmployeeEngagement

  • 👨🍳🏆 The “Duft der Kindheit” (Scent of Childhood) culinary competition ended on a high note! Hosted at the Nestlé lab kitchen in Frankfurt, this joyful and emotional event brought together residents, team members, and partners to celebrate food as a source of connection, pride, and care. Since March 2025, over 340 recipes have been submitted across Germany. The six best recipes were brought to life and cooked live by the kitchen teams from the six finalist care homes during the final. 👏 Congratulations to the winners, and heartfelt thanks to everyone at Korian Deutschland who made this event possible. This initiative is a true illustration of our Positive Care approach, recognizing that well-being is fostered not only through medical support but also through meaningful experiences that nourish both body and mind. Through food, we honour memories, empower voices, and nurture well-being, one recipe at a time. ❤️ #ClarianeAtYourSide #KorianDeutschland #DuftDerKindheit #PositiveCare

  • 💜 At Clariane, we believe every woman should feel safe, respected, and free to speak out.   We are proud to support the launch of a new anti-violence support desk at the Korian Bosco della Stella care home in Rivoli, Italy, a confidential and welcoming space created by the SvoltaDonna association, offering psychological and legal assistance to women in need.   This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to defending women’s rights and combating all forms of violence. At Clariane, women make up over 80% of our workforce. Beyond the numbers, it is their journeys, their voices, and their dedication that shape who we are, every single day.   We believe that protecting and empowering women, both within our organisation and across society, is essential to building a more inclusive, respectful, and caring world.   👏 Congratulations to our teams in Italy and to the Clariane Women’s Club for turning this commitment into meaningful action.   #ClarianeAtYourSide #WomensRights #GenderEquality #StopViolence #KorianItalia #SvoltaDonna Korian Italia Marina Airasca Zaira Feroldi Federico Guidoni Antonella Ferioli Gianmarco Pernice Simona Ursillo Laura Linetti Simona Ghisellini Maura Sancini Raffaella d'Angerio Barbara Grill Laura Ombroni Caterina Pedacchio Laura Cinus Maria Dolores MONTANER MATAS Mathilde Tabary Alessandro Errigo

  • 🎯 What if 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 meant 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿? At Clariane, every procurement decision is an opportunity to make a positive impact: for the people we care for, for society, and for the planet. Our procurement policy fully reflects our commitments to social utility, local presence, and environmental responsibility. By building sustainable partnerships with 598 inclusive and local suppliers, we support professionals in the field and contribute to better care for our patients and residents. Designed to serve those on the ground, our approach is built on four pillars: 1️⃣ Close, trust-based cooperation with suppliers 2️⃣ A strong focus on sustainability and social utility 3️⃣ Evaluation criteria that go beyond price to include environmental and societal impact 4️⃣ Active listening to the needs of our facilities and teams In 2024, 78% of purchases were made domestically. We prioritise short supply chains, regional impact, and integration efforts, because responsible procurement starts locally. We're also taking concrete steps to reduce our carbon footprint, in line with our SBTi objective: halving emissions in ten years. Our suppliers are key allies in this ambition. 💬 “Behind every product and service, there is a promise: better support, better treatment, better care.” Hervé Dupérey, Clariane Procurement Vice President #ClarianeAtYourSide #Sustainability #ResponsibleProcurement #SocialImpact #CSR #BusinessForGood

  • 🌈 In June, we celebrate 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁. But at Clariane, inclusion is part of everyday life, in what we say and in what we do. 💬 “I have never felt held back because of who I am.” These words come from our team member. They reflect a reality: here, everyone can thrive by being fully themselves. To make this a reality everywhere, we take concrete, lasting action: ✔️ Signing of the L'Autre Cercle Charter for a more inclusive workplace ✔️ LGBT+ inclusion training to raise awareness among our teams ✔️ Awareness campaigns rolled out across Europe ✔️ A dedicated HR group to share best practices and strengthen local policies 🎥 For Pride Month, we’re giving them a voice through a video of personal stories. Because inclusion isn’t declared, it’s lived, every day, in our teams, on the ground. • At Clariane, we believe 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 only matters when it improves lives. Faced with an ageing population and increasing pressure on healthcare systems, we are committed to developing innovative solutions that anticipate age-related frailty and encourage local, community-based prevention. 🧠 Since 2024, we’ve been implementing the WHO’s ICOPE programme with the ERVPD_ IHU HealthAge to detect early signs of frailty in people over 60. 🧑⚕️ Through our call for start-ups launched via the EIC Corporate Partnership Programme, we aim to integrate high-performance technologies that make care more efficient. 🤖 In our Korian France care homes, impact is tangible: thanks to solutions like Kaspard, falls are reduced, mobility improves, helping residents rebuild their confidence and mobility. 📚 In 2024, we produced 105 publications and communications related to research and innovation projects. 🏥 We also actively collaborate with local health authorities, to contribute to more inclusive, integrated and preventive healthcare systems. As Anne-Charlotte Dymny, Group CITO and Chair of Clariane Spain, explains: “Innovation made possible by technology must serve professionals as well as residents, patients, and their loved ones, and reflect the full humanity of our mission.” Antoine Piau Nicolas Jurado Marcela Santini #ClarianeAtYourSide #HealthInnovation #SustainableHealth #prevention #research #frailty
