  • A Legacy Forged in Steel ⚓ This year, Glasgow is 850 years old. Few industries have shaped the city quite like shipbuilding. On the banks of the Clyde, generations have created more than ships: they’ve built careers, communities, and a global reputation for excellence. They’ve made history. In this video, our team shares what it means to be part of that story today, where tradition feeds innovation, and pride runs deep 🛳️ #HistoryMakers

  • Glasgow’s skyline has changed and so has the future of shipbuilding 🛳️ The newly completed Janet Harvey Hall is a landmark investment in our facilities on the River Clyde, unlocking new levels of capability, capacity and confidence in UK naval manufacturing. Named after a pioneering wartime electrician, the hall is built to support the delivery of the Type 26 programme and beyond. Take a closer look at how this facility is anchoring shipbuilding excellence in Glasgow for generations to come. ⚓⬇️

Welcome to the Janet Harvey Hall - Glasgow's state-of-the-art shipbuilding facility, named after one of the many women who supported the wartime industry. Opened by Lord Provost of Glasgow and Janet's nieces, the ceremony reflected on the past and looked ahead to an exciting future for the city. This multi-million pound investment can house two Type 26 frigates side-by-side with HMS Belfast and HMS Birmingham now under construction. Join our team ⚓ http://baes.co/e4gg50WgaKk
