We’re thrilled to have won Best Use of Partnership Marketing at the 2025 Travel Marketing Awards for our ‘Drive the Dream’ campaign with Tourism Western Australia. This innovative campaign captured the imagination of UK travellers - reaching 3.9M people and driving a 19% YoY increase in searches for Western Australia - by turning inspiration into action across flights, hotels, and car hire. We built a seamless path with the Tourism Western Australia team from dreaming to planning to booking and this award is a testament to the strength of what we can deliver together. Innovation has always been at the heart what we do at Skyscanner, and last week was no different as we crowned the winners of our first ever AI Hackathon. The rules were simple, teams had two days to build a prototype of anything to improve what we do here at Skyscanner (whether for travellers, partners or internal use) with the idea having AI at the heart. The top 3 ideas were then shortlisted for the Grand Final in our London office last Thursday and our winners were awarded £5,000 (or local equivalent) to spend on travel in the next year. So huge congrats to: Ryan Ruan, Roy Zheng, Tuxiu Luo, Jason Zhao, Chank Ma and Kent Xu from our Shenzhen office for their winning idea. And what was that idea we hear you ask... well you'll find out soon enough 😉

AI is no longer a future concept. It's the engine behind today's most exciting innovations and at Skyscanner we're really thinking about how we can go beyond what we do today to become a trusted travel platform. Our Chief Product Officer, Piero Sierra, recently sat down with PhocusWire's Mitra Sorrells at Phocuswright Europe to discuss just how we are navigating this shift. Pride 2025 at Skyscanner 🏳️🌈 Thanks so much to our teams around the globe for organising a fantastic set of Pride Month celebrations for this June. Not only did we have a worldwide panel featuring: Paff Evara, Thea Bardot and our very own Martin Nolan covering all things LGBTQ+ travel - but our offices around the world celebrated in their own unique ways. This included: 🌈 Marching in parades in Edinburgh and Barcelona and sponsoring a banner for Tokyo Pride 🌈 Celebrating Pride together in Miami as well as events such as Drag Queen Bingo scheduled for our London office 🌈 Committing to support a Scottish LGBTQ+ charity with funding in 2025 🌈 Sourcing LGBTQ+ caterers for our June Pride Themed Social events across our offices 🌈 Educational pieces written throughout the month on various topics from colleagues around the business. This is all alongside our ongoing work to make Skyscanner as inclusive a workplace as we possibly can.

Skyscanner has been named in The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality 2025 🏆 This recognition is a fantastic milestone, born from a lot of hard work, honest conversations and people across the business striving consistently to make change happen. Of course this isn't our end goal, but a brilliant motivator to keep pushing, listening, learning, and showing up.

Skyscanner reposted this
I'm so proud to share that #Skyscanner has been named one of The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality! #TT50 #ResponsibleBusiness This is an incredible milestone for us, reflecting the amazing work happening across the company to build a culture that's inclusive, fair, and genuinely supportive. Thank you so much to the Skyscanner team and our employee-led RISE (represent, inspire, support and empower) networks; it's been a hugely collaborative effort shaped by people at every level of the business who care about making meaningful and lasting change. There's always more to do, but it's wonderful to celebrate a moment like this as we continue our journey.

Thanks so much to the team from Over The Bloody Moon for coming into our offices last week to talk about the menopause and how we can better support colleagues going through it. You can check out what to expect from one of their excellent workshops in the video below and find out more about all their amazing work here - https://lnkd.in/eCEsuXFU
This week we'd like to showcase Skyscanner for their Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging leadership. We were delighted to visit both their London and Edinburgh offices to run a workshop, XPO and simulator trials to raise awareness, conversation, and foster allyship around menopause. The event was hosted by Rise Equal, one of the thriving ERGs at Skyscanner and Mie Oestergaard 🏳️🌈, Global DEI lead. This follows other initiatives, such as Empathy Labs where employees have been able to step into the shoes of people living with neurodiversity and tunnel vision. Amber Shand MBCS, the Champion for RISE Equal said "We really wanted to find a way to get men involved in the conversation and so the MenoVests seemed a perfect way to do this." Both offices had fantastic attendance to our workshops with lots of questions and reflections, demonstrating interest and empathy. Watch the video below to learn more on the value of our experiential empathy tools for awareness events and training on menopause and menstrual health. #menovest #menopauseally #experientialtraining #learninganddevelopment #belonging
