📡 Reimagining connectivity from the stratosphere 🚀 In a recent Light Reading article, associate editor, Tereza Krásová takes a closer look at how CC is helping to redefine the future of telecoms through non-terrestrial innovation. A key example of our work is the development of advanced beamforming antennas for High-Altitude Platform Systems (HAPs) that enable 5G coverage from the stratosphere. These hydrogen-powered aircraft can provide wide-area, steerable coverage - adapting in real time to movement and terrain. It’s a powerful solution for extending connectivity to underserved regions, enhancing network resilience, and supporting national infrastructure in a shifting geopolitical landscape. As our own Martin Brock notes, satellite comms is just the beginning - HAPS offer a new frontier in bandwidth, flexibility, and strategic independence. 🛰️ Read the full article here: https://hubs.li/Q03xqQrc0 #DeepTech #TelecomInnovation #HAPS #5G #Connectivity #NonTerrestrialNetworks

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the most pressing global health challenges of our time. It is a solvable problem, but only if we address it where it begins. Primary care is the front line, yet it remains one of the most overlooked areas in AMR strategy. AMR occurs when bacteria evolve to resist the effects of antibiotics, making once-treatable infections difficult or impossible to cure. Contrary to popular belief the majority of antibiotics are prescribed in primary care. To make meaningful progress against AMR we must equip primary care physicians with the right diagnostic tools to make the best use of the antimicrobial resources of today. If you’re serious about making a difference in the fight against AMR, come and talk to us. Let’s explore how we can turn this challenge into meaningful progress, together. We’ll be at ADLM in Chicago later this month, if you’re attending, drop by booth 5242 and talk to the team. https://hubs.li/Q03wt1rJ0 #antibiotics #PrimaryCare #AMR #AntimicrobialResistance #ADLM2025 Alejandra Sanchez Ben Wicks

❓ How do you leverage radical science and engineering to create genuine business value and stay ahead of the game? Greg Pelton, CTO at Iridium Communications Inc, is on point: “You really want to start from; what's happening in the industry? what's happening in the market? what are the technology trends? what are competitors doing? Then how do we navigate across that landscape and what are the technologies and capabilities we can leverage to be the most successful and stay true to our mission and compelling proposition?” In a frank conversation, part of the CC in Conversation series, Greg and Suzi McBride, COO and Board Member, discuss how they have applied new-to-the-world innovation as a key business strategy to evolve Iridium’s technology and bring transformative services to market. 👉 Watch the full video here: https://lnkd.in/ereyHU_v It’s a fascinating insight for any CxO looking to seize the promise of deep tech innovation as part of their business strategy. #DeepTech #Future #BusinessAdvantage #BusinessTransformation #SatelliteTechnology

🔍 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵𝘀: 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗜𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲 At Cambridge Consultants, we’ve been at the forefront of deep tech innovation for decades. So when the conversation turns to quantum computing, we’re not just watching the hype—we’re helping enterprises cut through it. Following a recent media day at our Cambridge HQ, George Lawton for diginomica captured a key message we’ve been sharing: 2025 may be the “year of quantum,” but not in the way many expect. Together with our Capgemini colleagues, we have unpacked five common myths that are clouding enterprise thinking: 🚫️ Quantum is too far off to plan for 🚫 Quantum alone will be useful 🚫 It’s time to build quantum POCs 🚫 Quantum is faster than classical computing 🚫 All quantum challenges are new The reality? Quantum readiness isn’t about waiting for the hardware to arrive. It’s about laying the groundwork today—from upgrading cryptographic infrastructure to rethinking IT systems and processes.
