🏟️ Paris, June 26, 2025 – An event destined to go down in athletics history. As part of Nike’s Breaking4 initiative, Olympic and world champion Faith Kipyegon attempted an unprecedented feat: to become the first woman to run the mile in under four minutes. On the Mondo track at Stade Charléty, Faith completed the run in 4:06.42, improving her own world record. Although the time cannot be officially ratified, it marked an extraordinary moment for women’s sport. The choice to run on a Mondo track was no coincidence. Our surfaces are engineered to turn every step into propulsion, every dream into possibility. And it was on a Mondo track that Faith showed the world limits exist only to be surpassed. 🏃♂️ Diamond League Paris 2025: World-Class Performances on Mondo 📍 Stade Charléty – Sportflex Super X 720™ A memorable evening for global athletics: in Paris, 1 World U20 Record, 3 Area Records, and 10 National Records were set on the Mondo track. 🇫🇷 The crowd’s ovation went to Azzedine Habz, who made history in the 1500 m with a new French national record: 3:27.49. 💥 Since the beginning of the season, 5 out of 8 Diamond League meetings have taken place on Mondo tracks.
