Xerjoff Group S.p.A. is an Italian, Turin based, perfume house fully dedicated to luxury perfume in its art form. Xerjoff means going beyond the olfactory dimension, to enter a wider universe where perceptive and sensorial areas blend together, rediscovering the golden ages when the art of perfumery went hand-in-hand with the multisensorial arts of their bottle holders. Created by the artisan expertise of the master perfumiers of Grasse, Xerjoff is a journey towards the discovery of the most precious part of the fascinating territory of essences, the place where the unique alliance between the millenary knowledge of nature and technological research is celebrated. The exclusive nature of the raw materials, selected from the very best offered by traditional export countries, is matched with meticulous attention to detail, right down to the creation of surprising sculpture flacons carved out of quartz stone, Murano glass and other precious materials.

    Heritage, class and elegance. Three things that Casamorati, the Palio di Siena and haute cuisine have in common. The Palio di Siena is a historic equestrian event dating back to the 17th century, whose proud traditions are still honoured today. For its most recent iteration on 2 July, Casamorati hosted an opulent event in the beautiful settings of Palazzo Chigi Zondadari, adding a touch of luxury to the occasion. A perfume masterclass educated guests about the nuances of perfumery through an interactive workshop which also delved into the history and olfactory elements of the Palio. In the evening, Chef Yannick Alléno prepared an exquisite meal using traditional ingredients of the region, recounting through taste the history and culture of the Palio di Siena through the centuries.     In late June, Calabra in Santa Monica played host to an intimate evening of conversation and cocktails, as Xerjoff founder Sergio Momo sat down with Viju Mathew, luxury editor at Robb Report, for a wide-ranging interview about his journey with Xerjoff.     Last week, 100 hand-made elephant sculptures made their way to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles as the The Great Elephant Migration arrived at the final stage of its 1000-mile journey across the US. Xerjoff is a proud supporter of the Great Elephant Migration and had representatives present to celebrate the movement’s achievements, with Sergio Momo cutting the ribbon at the finish line. The Great Elephant Migration raises funds for NGOs that help humans and animals share space and resources, and also provides financial stability to the indigenous tribes who make the elephant sculptures by hand. The sculptures are made from the invasive Lantana camara shrub, helping to free Indian forests from this harmful vegetation and rendering the Great Elephant Migration carbon neutral in the process. Xerjoff created a perfume called #CoExistence in support of the movement, with part of the proceeds from its sales going towards the cause.     Xerjoff is proud to announce the launch of Saveurs Olfactives, a multisensory experience in which high perfumery meets haute cuisine. Saveurs Olfactives is a dining experience that celebrates the deep connection between taste and scent, and is the fruit of the collaboration between Sergio Momo, Xerjoff founder, and the most Michelin-starred chef in the world,Yannick Alléno. Inspired by the shared values of avant-garde creativity, a visionary approach to excellence and a deep reverence for quality raw materials and craftsmanship, Momo and Alléno have spent the past few months designing and perfecting the experience, which uses the two most evocative senses to transmit the soul of a city. The experience makes its debut at Alléno’s three-Michelin-star restaurant in Paris - Pavillon Ledoyen from June 17, before expanding to his restaurants in Monaco, London, Seoul, and Dubai, each offering a unique, location-specific multisensory journey.   • During the Xerjoff Sensory Hub’s stay in Milan last week, an oversized perfume flacon served as a canvas for the live performance by artist Francesco Zurlini, in which he painted a unique pattern using revolutionary Airlite® paint. Airlite paint combats air pollution and smog by actively drawing harmful gases out of the atmosphere. Zurlini’s artwork was displayed for the entire seven-day run of the Sensory Hub, giving it time to have a measurable impact. Careful analysis of its efficiency showed that in that time, it absorbed a total of 11.344g of NOx from the atmosphere. That is equivalent to a week’s worth of emissions from 43 petrol cars (Euro 6 category). The performance itself and the use of Airlite paint were indicative of Xerjoff’s artistic sensibilities, innovative spirit and commitment to protecting our natural environment. #Xerjoff #XerjoffSensoryHub
