🏟️ Paris, June 26, 2025 – An event destined to go down in athletics history. As part of Nike’s Breaking4 initiative, Olympic and world champion Faith Kipyegon attempted an unprecedented feat: to become the first woman to run the mile in under four minutes. On the Mondo track at Stade Charléty, Faith completed the run in 4:06.42, improving her own world record. Although the time cannot be officially ratified, it marked an extraordinary moment for women’s sport. The choice to run on a Mondo track was no coincidence. Our surfaces are engineered to turn every step into propulsion, every dream into possibility. And it was on a Mondo track that Faith showed the world limits exist only to be surpassed. ♻️ Sustainability and Innovation: Mondo at the heart of the AMBIANCE project Last May, Mondo hosted a key stage of the European AMBIANCE project, dedicated to the digital and sustainable transition of the manufacturing industry. After the meeting at the ITA in Zaragoza, the project partners visited MondoTufting plant in Borja, where we showed the progress of our industrial use case: 📌 Digitalization of the extrusion process 📌 Use of digital twins 📌 First trials with bio-based polyethylene (Bio PE) A concrete example of how technology and sustainability can move forward together.
