  • Car Overspeed Detection System

    -

    The prototype made used to detect an object passing in front of its sensors with a speed above 15km/hr. It comprised of two sections both communicates wirelessly through an RF module. The transmitter section carries detection sensor whereas the receiver section carries a buzzer. When speed limit is crossed the buzzer at receiver sounds as well as an LCD display displays the speed. The prototype was designed using two Arduinos, two IR sensors, one RF module, two LCD displays and a Buzzer.

    This is a scrolling type LED display notice board, which is made compatible with mobile messaging. A message send to it with " MSS " as prefix will display the trailing content on the board similarly after a notice is set, when it is send a message " SNND" , it replays back with the notice it displays. It's controller is Arduino mega and it is made low cost,user friendly.The currently used displays are costly and are usually given content to display by connecting a pen drive and do not have the…

Drawing from Jindal Aluminium Limited's experience in supply chain management and operations, we can gain valuable insights into the strategies employed by the company to enhance cost-effectiveness, streamline operations, and deliver value to stakeholders. This study seeks to identify the tactics that have enabled Jindal Aluminium Limited to establish itself as a market leader by examining the company's approaches to sourcing, production scheduling, inventory management, logistics, and customer engagement.

    In conclusion, while optimizing inventory management, both upstream and downstream activities can operate smoothly, addressing inventory inaccuracies, which are a common challenge in organizations dealing with physical assets. Our findings indicate that rectifying inventory inaccuracies not only reduces supply chain costs but also minimizes out-of-stock situations. This study presents cost factors and their underlying reasons, facilitating the computation of cost components. Additionally, we outline the correlation between inventory and various operational aspects. Our results demonstrate that intra-firm inventory management flexibility, reflecting internal capabilities, positively influences management functions and performance.
