Low-cost, easily produced aerial threats are an increasingly prevalent challenge on the battlefield. In order to deal with these threats, early #detection, data distribution and selection of the most appropriate #effector is critical. ACE SHORAD engagement control enables operators to understand the operational battlespace and make timely decisions. Thales is the only European company to have designed a security module that integrates all functions, including security and navigation, into an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit), which was accredited by the French authorities in May 2025. Thales's Galileo PRS Core Module enables the reception of the Galileo PRS signal and is unique in its size (2.36" x 2.36" x 0.28"), weight (50 g) and power consumption (<2 W). The Thales Galileo PRS Core Module is designed for EU companies seeking an easy-to-integrate, standardized Galileo PRS module with which to develop their own GNSS receivers. Its ability to be integrated into third-party receivers has already been successfully demonstrated in France to support all French platforms. It is modular and a plug-and-play solution, enabling an easy switch to Galileo OS for end users who have not yet been granted access to Galileo PRS.   It was recently presented during the 15th anniversary of the Security Accreditation Board (SAB) in Prague, where it generated significant interest among participating officials and companies. [Going forward for Land Tactical Collaborative Combat] This week was the first #LATACC reporting to European Commission in Thales premises (Gennevilliers, France): a great opportunity for the Core team to share progress and get recommendations from EC Project Officer. LATACC Consortium succeeded to share a first joint vision of tactical collaborative combat in coalition, compatible with existing legacy systems. From December 2023: ➡️we collected User needs from 11 Member States ➡️we assessed the Land Combat technical evolution context ➡️we set up common Architecture principles and selected standards of interest. These are the foundations of LATACC follow on. On the same day, a workshop has been dedicated to the Integration Plan, to refine strategy and critical dependencies. Next steps of #LATACC will be dedicated to implementation and demonstration preparation. Collaborative combat benefits will be demonstrated to our Forces during regular events. ✅ End 2025 An Industrial lab demonstrations will present the Concepts. ✅ Mid 2026 Several National labs will be connected to highlight the benefits of Collaboration ✅ End 2026 A Field demonstration with all MoDs will conclude on #LATACC outcomes.
