L’ambition de Railcoop est de redonner du sens à la mobilité ferroviaire en impliquant citoyens, cheminots, entreprises et collectivités autour d’une même mission : développer une offre de transport ferroviaire innovante et adaptée aux besoins de tous les territoires. Concrètement, Railcoop fait rouler des trains de marchandises depuis novembre 2021 et lancera son premier service voyageurs prochainement. Le Comité de présélection du Prix Turgot, dit Club de lecture, composé de dix-huit anciens élèves de l'Institut des Hautes Finances, propose au Jury de sélection du prix Turgot, dit Grand Jury, une liste restreinte d'ouvrages parus dans l'année. Le Grand Jury, composé de quinze personnalités du monde économique et d'anciens lauréats du Prix Turgot, est présidé par Jean-Claude TRICHET, qui a succédé à Michel BON. Il sélectionne le lauréat du prix de l'année et peut décerner d'autres prix, plus spécialisés. Dans le cadre d’une convention pluriannuelle avec l’AEAEIHFi, Le Cercle Turgot contribue au processus de sélection du lauréat du Prix Turgot, soutient financièrement ce prix et son événement annuel de remise au Ministère de l’économie et des finances. Les lauréats du Prix contribuent aux rencontres organisées par le Cercle et participent aux ouvrages collectifs qu’il édite.
