🌱 New hybrid pitch at Bramall Lane (UK), home of Sheffield United Football Club   Tarkett Sports | Europe is proud to have contributed to the reconstruction of one of football’s most historic grounds: Bramall Lane.   ⚽Home to Sheffield United since 1889, it remains the oldest significant stadium in the world where professional football is still played.   Our team used two Gen 5 stitching machines to stitch a total of 7,210 m², including 510 m² at 20x10mm centers and 6,700 m² at the standard 20x20mm spacing.   ✅ Stitching began just one day after seeding, with no disruption to surface levels or stress to the germinating grass. All project waste was brought back to our Oss (#Netherlands) workshop for sorting and recycling   🤝This was a true team effort with: Glenn Nortcliffe & Andrew Chadwick from Sheffield Utd Tom McCoy from J. 🏟️A tailor-made pitch for a spectacular show!   On Sunday, June 14th, the Kings League final turned Paris La Défense Arena into a true arena of entertainment !   🎯 Created by former footballer Gerard Piqué, the Kings League is an international phenomenon that’s shaking up the game, bringing together former pro players, streamers and new rules for an XXL show followed by millions of fans around the World. 🌱FieldTurf’s innovation in action in #Hamburg!   Great moment earlier this week at our customer event, with the City of Hamburg, #Germany. This is one of the most forward-thinking pitch projects in Germany government-funded pilot that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in sustainable sports field design.   🔍 The city has a dedicated budget to build pitches outside the norm, enabling real-world testing of innovative solutions on pilot fields. Their approach sets new standards by focusing on recycled content backed by certifications like ISCC – the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification, recyclability, and long-term durability as a core performance metric.   We’re proud that FieldTurf was awarded both turf installations in Öjendorfer Weg.
