Over 40% of exhibitors focused on AI applications across healthcare, defense, logistics, and energy. Canada led international participation with 170 organizations showcasing ethical and applied AI innovations. Three strategic developments defined the event: 🏛️ 𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 France and the EU unveiled a sovereign infrastructure initiative with NVIDIA and Mistral AI, backed by €10B in private capital and €3B in public investment. The European-based infrastructure aims to ensure data autonomy and reduce dependency on non-European platforms: a clear signal that AI independence is now a national security priority. ⚡ 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 By 2030, AI data centers could consume 10% of electricity in industrialized economies. Current optimisation and renewable strategies won't bridge this gap. France's ITER nuclear fusion project, targeting a 10x energy return by 2035, is being positioned as the long-term answer to powering AI infrastructure at scale. 🚀 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗜 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 Beyond the hype, companies demonstrated concrete applications: preventive healthcare diagnostics, military decision systems, supply chain monitoring, and synthetic media creation. European startups proved they're ready to compete globally, while Canada's delegation showcased how AI is becoming a national export advantage. Despite the buzz, human element remained central. The Tech for Change award went to Genesis, a regenerative agriculture startup, while sessions on digital inclusion and workforce impact reinforced that innovation must go hand-in-hand with responsibility.
