«My obsession is to make women beautiful. When you create with that in mind, things can’t go out of fashion» AA

À propos

Since 1964, Alaïa is a legendary Parisian Couture Maison, which, beyond fashion, reveals the power of femininity and the timelessness of beauty in the spirit of its namesake creator.   Open to inspiration from all cultures and artistic fields, the free and uncompromising mind of Azzedine Alaia still imbues the Maison’s invention in all things.   At its heart, the ateliers perpetuate Alaïa's pioneering approach to the body as sculpture; crafting through fabric, cut, and silhouettes, limitless interpretations of a woman's beauty.   Mythical creations that move from day to evening are sculpted in innovative materials and in its legendary knit. They reflect both allure and comfort, structure and fluidity, as an ode to a universal femininity.

ALAÏA SUMMER FALL 2025 ARCHETYPES The dream of an endless summer. Holidays extending around a pool, in a dreamlike setting, that free the women’s bodies and exalt their power. The absolute freedom of bodies in motion. These themes, which are the very foundation of Alaïa’s language, define the spirit of the Maison’s Summer Fall 2025 Archetypes campaign. Bathed in the warm light of a summer day, Anok Yai and Binx Walton shine in this campaign. Photographed by Tyrone Lebon in the South of France, they appear in their purest, most raw beauty. Yet, in Pieter Mulier’s collection, they become the very embodiment of the Alaïa woman—sculptural, magnetic, desirable, and powerful. The Summer Fall 2025 Archetypes campaign tells the story of an eternal summer. Like the Maison itself, this season represents the beauty of purity. The most liberated beauty. Always in motion. ALAÏA X TEFAF MAASTRICHT 2025 In the history of the Maison, the philosophy of fashion is inspired by art and design, with both Azzedine Alaïa and, more recently, Pieter Mulier, viewing their creations as part of a larger conversation between fashion and design.   Alaïa is delighted to continue its partnership with TEFAF Maastricht 2025, globally recognized as the world’s premier fair for fine art, antiques, and design. — Galerie Canesso’s stand at TEFAF Maastricht 2025. ALAÏA SUMMER FALL 25 “This collection began with thoughts of history, of geography, of sculpture, and always of women. They are all part of the clothes, within them. The work of the sculptor Mark Manders punctuates the show space - and that space is normally the Alaïa atelier, an environment of creation shared between fashion and art, our common ground. The clothes reference multiple histories, different periods and places expressed simultaneously, through a shape or detail. By evoking these traces of histories - by remembering them - we can create a synthesis for our time, something new. Clothes move like kinetic sculpture, living, animated with pleats and drapes. Hoods conceal and reveal, framing faces like a portrait of a woman, a portrait of beauty. The message is about singularity, individuality, the eternal strength and resilience of women, empowering them through their clothes.” - Pieter Mulier Discover more on https://lnkd.in/e5Rdvu-f

ALAÏA WINTER SPRING 25 Purity. This core concept within Pieter Mulier’s vocabulary for Alaïa defines the very essence of the Winter Spring 25 campaign. Daria Werbowy stars in these images, shot by Tyrone Lebon with a small crew in an ethereal Miami space. “Daria is the perfect extension of the show at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. With her powerful sensuality that emanates effortlessly, she embodies this collection like no one else. She is the ultimate woman,” explains Pieter Mulier. Much like Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture, Daria personifies a beauty that transcends time. In the intimacy of Tyrone Lebon’s images, she radiates an intense, raw, and timeless sensuality. Like the collection itself, Alaïa’s Winter Spring 25 campaign is all about finding power in absolute purity. Discover the collection at https://lnkd.in/ezdKNemg

DIALOGUE 4 - ALAÏA BY SEKLAOUI   Alaïa is pleased to announce the launch of Alaïa by Seklaoui, its fourth Dialogue, with photographer Anthony Seklaoui. Published by Mörel, this limited-edition book offers an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the Maison’s creative process, providing a private view of the reality behind the last Alaïa collections by Pieter Mulier. Closing with Mulier’s last Winter Spring 25 show at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, this visual record by Seklaoui serves as a celebration of the Creative Director’s first chapter at Alaïa.   Born from the intimate collaboration between Pieter Mulier and Anthony Seklaoui, Alaïa by Seklaoui was built upon their shared obsession with the idea of raw beauty.    “Anthony has a remarkable eye, one that can extract beauty from the chaos,” says Pieter Mulier. “Alaïa by Seklaoui is a tribute to our friendship, but most of all to all those who contribute to the magic of a collection coming to life. The ateliers, the teams, the production, the girls walking the show—all those who are part of the Alaïa circle.”   Alaïa by Seklaoui is available on maison-alaia.com, in the Alaïa boutiques, and through chosen distributors. A limited special edition of 250 copies, presented in a custom-made Alaïa box and in a larger format, is exclusively available in selected Alaïa boutiques. Discover more on https://lnkd.in/eS22mDcB

15 FAUBOURG - A NEW HOME FOR ALAÏA IN PARIS Alaïa is pleased to announce the opening of its new flagship at 15 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. This iconic Parisian address embodies a meeting point between Alaïa’s timeless heritage and a new chapter in its story. Alongside the two other historic spaces on Rue de Moussy and Rue de Marignan, each representing a distinct facet of Alaïa, this new location completes the trilogy of the Maison’s Parisian addresses while preserving the same intimate and familial spirit that defines the house. It also symbolizes the realization of Azzedine Alaïa’s dream of having a boutique on this legendary street. Designed by architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, in collaboration with Pieter Mulier, 15 Faubourg acts as a dynamic yet warm space where art, design, and fashion engage in dialogue. In line with Alaa’s commitment to bridging fashion and art, Pieter Mulier has selected several of his favorite art and design pieces to be displayed in the boutique, as though furnishing a home. These include a table by Ron Arad, Philippe Malouin’s Mollo armchairs, and a series of sculptures by American artist Diamond Stingily from the body of work Elephant Memory, including a new large sculpture entitled Elephant Memory Final, 2024. With their autobiographical echoes, these unique works combine the sensuality of hand-braided, black synthetic hair with the heavy metal presence of galvanized steel chains, exploring the relationship between the personal and the industrial, capital and the body. DIALOGUE 3 – ALAÏA X DESIGN GALLERIES Alaïa is pleased to present its third Dialogue, with six of Paris’ most prominent design galleries: Galerie Jacques Lacoste, Galerie Kiyama, Galerie Kreo, Galerie Maxime Flatry, Galerie Patrick Seguin, Galerie Vallois. Captured by Katja Rahlwes, six distinct variations of Le Teckel, the new iconic bag designed by Pieter Mulier, are presented in these six galleries. In this series of images, each Teckel is placed in close proximity to unique design pieces, sparking a conversation between form, function, and artistry. Le Teckel appears not only as a timeless functional accessory that embodies Alaïa’s exceptional savoir-faire, a woman’s everyday companion, but most importantly as an object in its own right. This third Dialogue acts as a testament to how Pieter Mulier’s Alaïa is intertwined with the language of design. Discover more on https://lnkd.in/ebQXPPDW
