Antoine Dupont, ambassador of the France Pavilion and also an ambassador for LVMH and Louis Vuitton, celebrated the French National Day (July 14th) at the World Expo Osaka-Kansai 2025. The France Pavilion's strong attendance, averaging 28,000 visitors daily over just 11 weeks, has secured its place among the top three most popular exhibits. The July 14th celebration, known as "Paris Saï" in Japan, further amplifies this achievement. A special program was presented to visitors, highlighted by Norie Suzuki's performance of the French national anthem. In attendance were Minister Delegate for Tourism Nathalie Delattre, and Antoine Dupont, captain of the French national union rugby team, Olympic rugby men’s sevens champion, best player in the world (men’s rugby 15s in 2021 and rugby men’s sevens in 2024). In a short address, Antoine Dupont conveyed his sense of honor in embodying the values of fraternity and excellence. He praised the showcasing of exceptional expertise present within the Pavilion and highlighted the strong ties that unite France and Japan. Following his speech, he engaged in a friendly and symbolic exchange with Japanese rugby player Naoto Saito, followed by a convivial meeting with the many visitors present. Christian Dior Couture and UNESCO presented the fifth edition of the Women@Dior & UNESCO Global Conference, celebrating five years of a unique partnership. Held at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, the gathering gave pride of place to Mentees, young female talents supported by Dior, embodying the values of excellence, generosity, openness. The event spotlighted major themes such as the professional future of younger generations, access to education, and the vital role played by female role models. A new chapter has also been written for the Dream for Change Project, driven by the strength of the collective. Five teams of mentees – from South Korea, the United States, France, Nepal, and the United Kingdom – presented their concrete projects promoting the autonomy of young women in their local communities. Over eight weeks, 18 students from SDA Bocconi’s Master in Fashion, Experience & Design Management program tackled a strategic business case on the role of the Food & Beverage (F&B) transition in sustainable hospitality, developed in partnership with LVMH and Belmond for the iconic Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel. Designed to foster critical thinking and impactful project design, the students worked alongside the Belmond and LVMH teams, along with F&B experts, to develop science-backed, operations-driven strategies that integrate sustainability into every aspect of the hospitality experience. Their learning journey culminated in a final pitch to a distinguished jury from Universita Bocconi, Belmond, and LVMH. The students impressed with their use of science, understanding of the industry, alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and their vision of hospitality that respects planetary boundaries. Congratulations to all of them and especially to the winning team. The students also visited Castello di Casole to experience Belmond’s sustainable approach in action. Through garden tours and time with the culinary team, they saw how permaculture, combined with culinary excellence, can create true environmental stewardship, aligned with LVMH’s Life 360 strategy. More than 225 interns from 16 Maisons, including Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Moët Hennessy, SEPHORA, Thélios, Loro Piana, Bvlgari and more, participated in the third annual LVMH Intern Day, a day full of connection, inspiration, and hands-on learning in New York City and San Francisco. This signature event reflects LVMH’s commitment to nurturing future leaders within the luxury industry. Interns had the unique opportunity to hear remarks from senior executives and engage directly with industry experts and mentors. Throughout the day, they participated in a rich program designed to build community and accelerate their professional growth.
