Lagardère Travel Retail takes a major step forward in its climate strategy We are proud to announce that our greenhouse gas reduction targets have been officially approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This validation confirms that our commitments align with the most rigorous scientific criteria to limit global warming to +1.5°C. Our key commitments: ➡️ 42% reduction in direct emissions (scope 1 and 2) by 2030, starting from 2024 ➡️ 25% reduction in indirect emissions (scope 3) over the same period This approval attests to the credibility and ambition of our decarbonization roadmap, driven by our comprehensive CSR strategy PEPS (Planet. Ethics. People. Social). It guides our initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint - a crucial element of our PEPS program. At Lagardère Travel Retail, this milestone invites us to accelerate our transformation, take a leadership role in the sustainable evolution of Travel Retail, and build a responsible future — for our stakeholders, the communities we serve, and the planet we all share.

Continuing our series on The Airport F&B + Hospitality Conference & Awards (FAB) winners, we’re proud to highlight Infineat Food Hall, the regional winner of the 2025 FAB Award for Airport Food & Beverage Opening of the Year – Middle East & Africa. The award celebrates the successful launch of this new dining space, which opened in December 2024 at Terminal 4 of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. A key milestone for Riyadh Airport Company (RAC), the inauguration brought together partners and stakeholders to mark the opening of this innovative and inclusive food hall. With brands including Hardees – the number one burger chain in Saudi Arabia – EL&N London, Kaki, Sawa and Strada Mia, Infineat offers a wide range of options, from fast food and specialty coffee to local and international cuisines. Notably, EL&N London’s store is the first to open in an airport outside the UK, bringing its full lifestyle brand experience to travelers. Each concept was selected for its quality offer and unique identity, with a shared focus on premium ingredients, expert preparation, and attention to detail. Congratulations to all the teams whose hard work and commitment made this opening a true success!

🎓 The Lagardère Travel Retail Academy 2025 continues its journey — this time in Dublin, with a powerful session dedicated to Change Management! From July 1st to 3rd, 15 managers from across our global network gathered in Ireland to explore how to successfully lead and implement strategic change. Led by the inspiring Jean-Michel Moutot, Professor at Audencia and ESSEC, the two-day workshop combined theory, case studies, and hands-on application to help participants build their own change management frameworks. It empowered our managers to confidently navigate transformation by deepening their understanding of change dynamics and equipping them with actionable strategies to drive impact across their teams and organizations. Welcome by the UK&Ireland team, this program kicked off with a visit of our ferries activities guided by Marie Shaw, Karen Jenkins, and Giedre Stauskaite, and a great experience at the famous Guiness Storehouse — a perfect way to connect with Dublin's local authenticity. As connecting our teams together is essential to fostering a strong collaborative culture, the participants were joined by Christine Maclean, Gail Downing, Paul Butters, Pauline Maguire and Nicholas Dunne for a memorable diner, a true moment of conviviality. A heartfelt thank you to all of them for their warm welcome and inspiring exchanges! 👏 Huge thanks to Jean-Michel Moutot for his engaging and insightful workshop, and to our organizing team: Delphine Poupaert, Catherine Guyomard, and Giorgia Bazzoli, who's dedication always made those academy a success !

Our spotlight on culinary excellence takes us to King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where our dining concepts — and the talent behind them — have been recognized at The Airport F&B + Hospitality Conference & Awards (FAB) 2025 . We are especially proud to pay tribute to Daniel Lewis, who was Highly Commended “Airport Chef of the Year” for his outstanding work at KKIA. Since joining us in May 2024 as Corporate Chef for Saudi Arabia, Daniel has been instrumental in transforming the airport dining experience — leading the successful opening of 13 innovative F&B concepts in Riyadh and setting new standards of quality and consistency. His impact goes far beyond the plate: ➡️ Menus that balance speed, flavor, and freshness — all tailored to the needs of modern travelers. ➡️ A deep commitment to training and mentoring local teams, raising standards across the board. ➡️ And a hands-on approach that ensures excellence at every touchpoint, from prep kitchen to passenger. This award is a powerful recognition of Daniel’s passion, leadership, and dedication — and a proud moment for all of us at Lagardère Travel Retail.

Sharing carbon data to accelerate collective action Lagardère Travel Retail is proud to join LESS (Low Emission Sustainable Sourcing) — the first collective initiative in the retail sector aimed at harmonizing the reporting of CO₂ reductions by suppliers. Led by Perifem, la Fédération Technique du Commerce and the Fédération du Commerce et de la Distribution (FCD), with the participation of eight major domestic retailers, this initiative will provide a shared platform — OpenClimat — to collect and centralize carbon data from suppliers, strengthening transparency and enabling all actors to scale their decarbonization strategies. Supported by experts from Deloitte, SWEEP, and FoodPilot, the platform will go live on October 15. This collective effort is part of the "Planet" pillar of Lagardère Travel Retail's CSR strategy PEPS (Planet, Ethics, People, Social), and supports our commitment to cut Scope 3 CO₂ emissions by 25% by 2030. We strongly encourage all our suppliers and brand partners to join us in this shared journey toward a more sustainable value chain. This month, Lagardère Travel Retail proudly celebrates our dining concepts that have been recognized at The Airport F&B + Hospitality Conference & Awards (FAB) 2025. And we are thrilled to highlight Café Iruña Berria, our tribute to Basque culinary heritage at Bilbao Airport, which has been awarded “Airport Food & Beverage Offer Best Representing Sense of Place” in the Regional Europe category! At Lagardère Travel Retail, we believe in crafting experiences that reflect the identity of the destinations we serve — and Café Iruña Berria is a wonderful example. Inspired by the soul and spirit of the Spanish Basque Country, this concept brings together history, gastronomy, and design in a bold new way. What makes Café Iruña Berria so unique? ➡️ A heartfelt tribute to the emblematic Café Iruña, a beloved Bilbao institution founded in 1903 — brought to life with the trust and support of the family custodians. ➡️ A culinary journey rooted in tradition, showcasing pintxos and seasonal Basque specialties, all prepared in an open kitchen for a truly immersive experience. ➡️ A striking sculptural “Ñ” at the entrance — inspired by the Guggenheim’s famous Puppy — that acts as a visual landmark, blending tradition and modern creativity. The name Berria, meaning “new” in Basque, signals a respectful yet forward-looking evolution of a cherished local brand. Café Iruña Berria offers travelers one last authentic taste of Bilbao before take-off — and a lasting memory of the city's culture, flavors, and identity. 👏 Huge congratulations to our amazing teams in Spain and to the Café Iruña family for this prestigious award!
