🎉 Casanis turns 100! A century of character, flavor and dual heritage. A few days ago, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Casanis. We marked this special milestone with an unforgettable evening at La Cachette in the beautiful city of Marseille, a true celebration of Casanis’ double identity: proudly Corsican, deeply Marseillais.   On the menu : Corsican songs, local specialties, and of course, the unmistakable taste of Casanis with its fresh notes of green anise and star anise.⭐ We were thrilled to welcome clients, our sales team, and members of the (big) Corsican community of Marseille to share this special moment and to honor this iconic brand. As for the Casanis team, this summer will be all about Mauresques made by adding a splash of orgeat syrup to the Pastis. Last week, we proudly hosted the international final of The Bartenders Society,  a very special edition marking the 10th anniversary of the competition. In the timeless atmosphere of Maison Saint James, where old copper stills whisper stories of craftsmanship, and under the watchful eyes of a prestigious jury, the finalists showcased incredible talent, pushing the limits of creativity, technique, and passion. Cocktails became stories. Movements became performances! To all the talented bartenders who took part in this journey from around the world, thank you. 🙏 A huge congratulations to Alexandra Tsatsouli, from Naked Bar in Athens, who took first place, ahead of the brilliant contenders from Denmark and Spain, completing the top 3. 🎬 Live from Burgundy, Cassis Harvest 2025 Begins!   We officially kicked off the harvest on Saturday, June 21st, the first day of summer and France’s beloved Fête de la Musique! The picking started in the southern part of Burgundy (Côte Mâconnaise and Côte Chalonnaise) with the legendary Noir de Bourgogne variety leading the way.   Due to the early heat, we made the call to begin slightly ahead of schedule, ensuring optimal ripeness while protecting the berries from sun damage. Once maturity is perfect, we move fast!   For Noir de Bourgogne: high sugar levels, bright acidity, and its signature powerful, vegetal aromas. The perfect balance and potential for our future Crèmes de Cassis. As for Blackdown: the fruit clusters are full and rich. The first plots are just reaching ripeness and will be harvested later this week.
