🔥 Steel melts at 1,760°C. Glass at 1,650°C. Copper at 1,500°C. How do we manufacture the materials that build our world without everything… well, melting? 🧱 The answer: refractories—heat-resistant materials that protect industrial equipment from extreme heat. Without them, cars, glass, and smartphones wouldn’t be possible. At Imerys, we power this invisible yet vital industry by supplying the high-performance minerals—like alumina, andalusite, and kaolin—that make refractories stronger. It’s a reminder of the quiet power of minerals—small in size, massive in impact.⚡ Learn more about Imerys refractories: https://bit.ly/44xxuvU

🎉 Our Dunkirk site is turning 50! Last week, we proudly celebrated half a century of industrial excellence, innovation, and teamwork at our site in northern France. 🥂 Since 1975, the products made here have gone on to support rocket launch pads, fast-setting floor screeds for warehouses and stores, wind turbine foundations, and much more. To mark the milestone, we hosted two special days filled with plant visits, workshops, and festive activities for partners, employees, and their families. Nestled in a historic part in the north of France, Dunkirk produces calcium aluminate specialty binders for the construction and refractory markets. Unlike conventional binders, they offer outstanding heat resistance, strength, and ultra-fast setting time — making them ideal for some of the most advanced and demanding applications. ♻️ Recycling paper isn’t as easy as it looks. Inside the packaging for food and beverages for example there is a thin coating barrier, a nightmare for recyclers. 👉 That’s exactly the kind of problem our scientists love to solve, and SmartClean™ is the result of that work. SmartClean™ is our new mineral solution that removes hidden contaminants and helps recyclers turn even the toughest waste streams into clean, reusable pulp. 📍 Curious to see it in action? Meet us at Zellcheming Expo | 1–3 July | Wiesbaden, Booth 98 Can’t make it? Get in touch with our team: https://bit.ly/46jrqto

🍺 Beer clarity is not just about the ingredients—it’s about how you filter them. When beer gets cold, proteins can bond with polyphenols and create chill haze — a cloudy effect that’s harmless but visually unappealing. To prevent this, brewers traditionally use diatomaceous earth (DE) to filter particles, and silica gel to remove proteins. But there’s a downside: silica gel clogs filter aids, reducing filtration efficiency and increasing the amount of material needed. Celite® Cynergy, our latest innovation in beer filtration, changes the game. This advanced diatomite-based filterable adsorbent does both: it filters and stabilizes beer in one step—without clogging filters or requiring additional agents like silica gel. Why brewers love it: ✔️ Clearer beer with fewer filtration cycles ✔️ Up to 30% less DE used ✔️ Less waste, less water, lower carbon footprint 👉 Learn more about the science behind clearer beer: https://bit.ly/45z14n5
