HDI team is pleased to share some glimpses of our rich +40years history of pioneering spirit and excellence within the HDD industry.🚀🧳 Treasure 02.2025 – Sul Capixaba Landfall 🪙 In 2009, HDI - HORIZONTAL DRILLING INTERNATIONAL, in collaboration with Spiecapag Intech, completed a historic landfall project in Brazil, within an environment sensitive area, drilling through a gneiss formation, an extremely hard rock with UCS up to 250 MPa. 💡Gneiss is the same type of rock as the famous Sugarloaf Mountain in Rio! ⛰️ Client: Subsea7 / Petrobras Country:  Brazil Crossing: 12’’ steel pipe 1250 m steel pipe + 750 m of concrete coated tail Entry casing: 30”

With a diameter of 48 inches and a length of 1820 meters, the pipe was installed between mid-November 2017 and mid-February 2018 across the River Axios in Greece as part of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG Project. 🏃♂️💨 Courir pour l’inclusion, ensemble. 💨🏃♀️ Même en formation à Dunkerque, deux collaborateurs d’Horizontal Drilling International ont enfilé leurs baskets pour courir et remporter des points dans le but de participer au challenge organisé par Cancer@Work. Une belle façon de soutenir l’inclusion des personnes touchées par le cancer ou une maladie chronique grave dans le monde du travail. 💙 Grâce à leur engagement – et à celui de toute l'équipe de nos 10 sportifs de Mud Runners – HDI se hisse dans le top 30% entreprises participantes, contribuant à placer VINCI Construction dans le top 10 groupes engagés. 🏅 📌 Petit rappel utile : tous les 150 000 km parcourus par les participants permettent à 1 personne d’être accompagnée financièrement dans son parcours professionnel. ➡️ À ce jour, 70 personnes ont pu être aidées grâce à cette mobilisation collective. At its core, safety is about protecting what matters most: our families. That’s why we’re committed to ensuring that everyone on site always returns home safely. To celebrate this connection between our work and our loved ones, #Inelfe (Interconexión Eléctrica Francia-España) launched a wonderful initiative: a drawing contest 🖼️ as part of the Biscay Bay Interconnector Project. 🔈 HDI at the DCA Spring Talks in Aachen 🇩🇪 We’re proud to have been represented by Marine GOUSSET, Project Manager at HDI, who delivered a powerful presentation on our greener approach to HDD installations. She showcased our fully electric rig and electrified spread, along with initiatives like surface impact minimization, frac-out monitoring, noise mitigation, retrofitting, sustainable purchasing, and advanced mud and water treatment - all aligned with our carbon reduction goals. Emma Sagot, Vanessa Mora and Camila Sanchez Prado also joined this rich event, which highlighted the impact of women in the drilling industry. Thanks to Drilling Contractors Association (DCA) and We-HDD for the opportunity!

🌟 A new milestone in our UK journey! Since launching in 2021, the HDI UK Branch has been gradually growing and making strides.
