The future of sustainable sourcing came to life at Future Fabrics Expo 2025 ✨ 🎉 This year marked the 15th anniversary of The Sustainable Angle, this must-attend event for responsible fashion and design. Over the past two days, we had the pleasure of joining the industry’s leading voices at Magazine London to explore the latest innovations in traceability, eco-innovation, and impact reduction. 💬 It was a great opportunity to reconnect with clients like Nobody's Child and Balzac Paris, and to meet forward-thinking suppliers such as BioFluff (SAVIAN), all shaping a better future for the industry. We were proud to be featured at the LVMH ‘Business Partners’ stand, showcasing our collaboration with Loewe, alongside fellow innovators Weturn, Nona Source, and Grain de Sail. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to connect with Rosie Mills, João Góis, and Pauline Hoffmann. Our conversations are what push us forward. 💚 Missed the event but curious to learn more about our solution? 👉 Book a meeting with our team here: https://lnkd.in/e8k98cft

With 337 votes in favor and just 1 against, the French anti-fast fashion bill has passed. ✅ The fashion world is abuzz with news: on Monday, the French Senate amended a landmark bill aimed at curbing ultra-fast fashion, and just yesterday, it was officially passed into law. This initiative is a first step to tackle overconsumption and its significant environmental and social impact. 🌱 This law introduces a series of crucial measures that will fundamentally change how brands operate: - A clear definition of what constitutes "ultra-fast fashion." - Mandatory display of clear messages on products, covering repairability, recycling, and environmental impact, right next to the price tag. - Clear and visible "made in" labels for clothing sold online, showing product traceability. - Strict advertising bans, including the use of the word "free" as a commercial. argument and, notably, a ban on influencer advertising for these brands starting in 2026. - New eco-modulation penalties that will progressively increase, making unsustainable practices more costly. - A new tax on small international parcels coming from outside the EU. - And even educating students in schools about responsible consumption. Why is this so important? France aims to level the playing field, protect its local industry, and ensure that new, agile global giants operate under clearer, more responsible rules. This also prevents "ultra-fast" fashion from becoming the norm. Who will this affect? All fashion industry players are concerned, directly or indirectly. However, this law particularly targets major groups with an ultra-fast fashion production model, sales platforms, and also French brands adopting this model. So, what's next? The law, now voted into law, is heading to Europe for notification and validation, paving the way for the decrees to be finalized and released in their final version! The countdown to full traceability and calculate your environmental cost for having the non-physical durability has begun. Are you ready to embrace the challenge? Want to learn more and see exactly what the anti-fast fashion law means? Read the full article here! 👉 https://lnkd.in/e8FeqbW3
