The Ascendance International Paris Air Show in 3 words: Pioneering. Hybrid. Scalable. This year's show marked a turning point for hybrid-electric #aviation, with major announcements and growing recognition of our role in the future of aeronautics. It also confirms Ascendance's trajectory: a reflection of the work we've accomplished, our technological maturity and our industrial ambition, in the service of low-carbon aviation and sovereignty. 🇫🇷 The exchange with the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron was a highlight of this edition - an important recognition for Ascendance, and more broadly for an entire industry on the move. 🔋 Since 2018, Ascendance has been carrying the vision of hybrid-electric aviation. And this Bourget 2025 confirmed that this vision is now becoming a shared evidence, a credible, realistic and scalable response to the challenges of decarbonization. 📌 Among the highlights: - The launch of the #STERNA Hybrid Pack, with EXOES, hailed for its relevance as key enabler of hybrid-electric aviation - Our strategic partnership signed with Airbus, a perfect match between an agile deeptech start-up and a world industrial leader - The consortium launched with Daher, Safran, Collins Aerospace and Ascendance, to develop hybrid-electric propulsion for general aviation. - Concrete defense applications, with the DT46 drone hybridized with Delair, supported by the DGA - Direction générale de l'armement and exhibited on the Ministère des Armées stand. - And the ongoing assembly of our VTOL #ATEA, in France, supported by new commercial partnerships (regional transport, medical services, surveillance...). 🤝 We had the pleasure of exchanging views with numerous representatives of the French government, the European Commission, local authorities and industrial partners: their support underscores the importance of our mission for decarbonized, sovereign and competitive aviation. 👨✈️ Last but not least, it was my first Paris Air Show as President of #StartAir, gathering the 90 start-ups of the GIFAS - Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales.
