Big News! AIATELLA closes funding round to deliver breakthrough cardiovascular care technology While the capital will accelerate our progress significantly, what excites us most is having incredible partners who share our vision for transforming cardiovascular care. Led by existing investor Nordic Science Investments, along with Specialist VC, Harjavalta Ventures, Business Finland and an angel syndicate including those who have supported us from the early days. These investors aren't just providing funding, they're backing our commitment to transform how we approach cardiovascular health. AIATELLA's technology addresses a critical challenge faced by radiologists worldwide in cardiovascular disease management. But we're not stopping there, we're enabling a fundamental shift toward preventative care. Our mission is both ambitious and essential: detecting cardiovascular issues before they escalate into life-threatening emergencies. The cardiovascular disease landscape is ready for disruption. Too many people receive their first warning sign in an emergency room. Our technology can change that narrative, moving from reactive treatment to proactive prevention. With this funding and the invaluable expertise and networks of our investors and advisors, we can now accelerate our mission at the pace it deserves. Together, we're building a future where cardiovascular health is monitored, predicted, and protected; not just treated after the fact. The entire AIATELLA team is energised and ready to push the boundaries of what's possible in cardiovascular care. With the resources now in place, we're positioned to develop solutions that could transform millions of lives.

ChangeNOW has left us energized and inspired! This past week in Paris at the Grand Palais, we witnessed firsthand the power of collective action - bold ideas and innovative solutions that are shaping the future of our planet 🌍 While the event has come to a close, we leave with a renewed sense of possibility. It was incredible to see changemakers, entrepreneurs, corporates, and NGOs not only connect, but also showcase their innovations at their booths - opening doors to new collaborations, visibility, and partnerships. Events like ChangeNOW remind us of the extraordinary potential that emerges when ideas are given a platform to thrive. We will be doing a full recap of the event in our upcoming newsletter, but some of our highlights included: 📌 All the great businesses from the Microsoft Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact program who showcased innovative solutions at their booths: Vera Solutions | Tech For Good, AIATELLA, Digita11y Accessible, Strolll OriginTrail and Trace Labs. Through promoting their innovations, the entrepreneurs were able to make invaluable connections with investors, corporates, and customers alike. 🎤 Anthony Virapin also took to the stage alongside Shani Gwin and Kristen Davis for an inspiring discussion on the future of inclusivity in an increasingly AI-driven world. 🔊 We’d like to thank Edward Woods from Bouygues and Lucia Sinapi-Thomas Capgemini for joining Anthony and James Lockyer on stage for our Sustainable Synergies event to discuss the benefits of Corporates coming together to support the Positive Impact space. In a space filled with of corporates, investors and entrepreneurs, we got to see entrepreneurs from Urban Connect, TrusTrace, Material Exchange, Material Evolution, Woodoo, and Carbon Upcycling Technologies expertly pitch their solutions to the crowd. It was great to catch up with our friend and former executive sponsor Jean-Philippe Courtois who joined us in the audience. 🌱 We had the opportunity to speak at the We Make Change event alongside James Sancto, Charlot Magayi and Evan Gwynne Davies to support the announcement of the top 100 sustainability startups to watch in 2025. It was great to see some of the entrepreneurs from our program make the shortlist - Earthplus Sustainability Network, FluxGen, Sacred Groves, Scrapp | Certified B-Corp 🌎, and Sopht I B Corp certified. Congratulations to all of the winners! If you were at ChangeNOW and did not get the chance to connect with us, or if you were unable to make the event, and you are interested in hearing more about Microsoft Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact - we would still love to hear from you. You can fill out this form, and we will get in touch for a discussion, whether you are an entrepreneur, corporate, or investor: https://lnkd.in/eriEDjWr Thanks to the organizers of ChangeNOW for putting on an incredible event. Super proud of our CEO Jack being recognized as a visionary for the use of AI to close the gender health gap. At the forefront of AI in healthcare, AIATELLA has the opportunity (and therefore the obligation) to ensure representation in our AI and research. Cardiovascular diseases do not discriminate, so neither should AI! AIATELLA is committed to ensuring representation of women and minority populations in our research and product development, recognizing that clinical guidelines have typically been informed by studies on white, middle-aged men. We're running clinical studies focused on understanding barriers to care and investigating how diseases present and progress differently by sex and demographic. This commitment extends to our AI development, where we create inclusive algorithms that account for diverse populations. By collaborating with our clinical and academic partners, AIATELLA aims to make a significant contribution to changing the landscape of medical research and AI applications, ensuring that our innovations serve all segments of society equitably.
🌟 Championing change: Three more outstanding #AIVisionaries of 2025🌟 We're delighted to spotlight three more innovators who are revolutionising healthcare through AI literacy, responsible development, and addressing critical gaps in women's healthcare. Ann O'Neill – An innovative pacesetter committed to addressing healthcare imbalances that disadvantage women and diverse communities both in life and in the workplace. She is the cofounder and CEO of an app that acts as an expert companion to women as they go through the menopause. It promotes open workplace conversations about menopause and reduces the impact menopause has on women’s health and wellbeing. Jack Parker - A leading biomedical scientist using AI to transform cardiovascular care by tackling bias and saving lives. Jack is working with women and people from ethnic minority groups to create truly representative AI tools that help to drive inclusivity, address existing biases and ensure conditions like cardiovascular disease (CVD) are no longer seen as a "male disease." Persefoni Perivolaropoulou - An early-career researcher using innovative methods to tackle the global health crisis of iron deficiency anaemia and inspiring the next generation of women’s health professionals. She has led the development and implementation of an AI-powered tool that analyses blood smears to detect iron deficiency, even before standard anaemia indicators are detected. These visionaries demonstrate how AI can be harnessed responsibly to transform healthcare outcomes while ensuring inclusive and ethical development. 📚 Explore their groundbreaking work in our AI Visionaries 2025 booklet https://lnkd.in/eZnrwvUs All our 2025 AI Visionaries have been invited to an exclusive event hosted by the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists | RCOG this January. #AIinHealthcare #WomenInAI #HealthTech

Following our successful proof of concept at SLUSH last year, Onni and Jack had the opportunity to share our progress in making preventative CVD screening possible in the Finnish healthcare magazine Hoiva & Terveys We're incredibly excited to enter the new year and pushing the quality of cardiovascular care and working towards making preventative CVD screening accessible to all!
Vision ➨ Reality in just 2 years This year at SLUSH, we experienced the profound impact our technology can have on real people, with real stories. This has always been our mission, and now we see it coming to fruition. SLUSH has always been a fantastic platform for connecting the ecosystem, sharing knowledge, and collaboration. However, this year meant so much more for us. Through a technical demonstration of carotid artery screening, we showed how our technology can detect cardiovascular issues that might otherwise go unnoticed, validating just how important this work is. The tangible impact of our work was highlighted during our CEO Jack's presentation on the Startup Stage. He emphasised our broader mission: to automate cardiovascular analysis and exponentiate productivity, ultimately expanding access to preventative screening. This approach enables us to identify diseases long before they become critical. On behalf of the whole team, we'd like to extend our deepest gratitude to: • Tiina Ketonen and Pihlajalinna for expert clinical oversight • The whole team at Maria 01 for hosting us, and Sarita Runeberg for spreading the word! • The Nordic Science Investments team for their insights and support so far. We're already impacting lives! • Slush for providing an exceptional platform for innovation, special mention to Maryama Moalim • Every participant who took part in the demonstration - you have helped advance the future of AI-powered prevention If you're concerned about your cardiovascular risk or want to learn more about our technology, please reach out.
