We recently welcomed students from Duoc UC- Sede Valparaíso to one of our solar plants in Chile for a field visit. The group — future electrical technicians currently working on an 𝘰𝘧𝘧-𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧-𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 — had the chance to see how a photovoltaic plant operates in real life. Together, we walked through the entire solar energy generation process: from panel components to grid connection, making key concepts of solar technology tangible and easier to understand. At Opdenergy, we believe that sharing knowledge is essential to shaping a more sustainable future. Supporting technical education and opening our doors to learning experiences like this helps develop stronger professionals and brings us closer to the communities we’re part of. 🚀 We are thrilled to announce a new milestone for Opdenergy! We have successfully secured a €𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, led by EIG and Infranity, two leading institutional investors in the energy and infrastructure sectors. This new facility refinances our previous €250 million bond issued in 2022 and increases the total amount to €350 million, with the flexibility to upsize by an additional €150 million. This transaction reflects the continued trust and confidence of our financial partners and strengthens our ability to accelerate the execution of our business plan, scale our renewable energy platform, and reinforce our position as a key player in the 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Backed by our majority shareholder Antin Infrastructure Partners, with 1.9 GW of operational capacity across Europe, LATAM and the United States and a strong pipeline, we remain fully committed to driving sustainable growth as a large-scale Independent Power Producer (IPP). This year’s report also includes an overview of our 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻, which sets out science-based, measurable targets. We are pleased to have successfully completed third-party verification of our carbon footprint by the independent expert organization. Last week, part of our Resource team attended a technical masterclass focused on the challenges and advancements in wind resource assessment. During the session, key topics were discussed, including:   ✅ Wind and solar resource measurement ✅ Use of meteorological masts and LiDARs ✅ Innovative campaign design: the “Super Masts” ✅ Power curves based on nacelle-mounted LiDARs Thanks to DEKRA for the opportunity to grow in an environment of learning, collaboration, and technical exchange that helps drive the development of the sector. ⚡At Opdenergy, we believe in the importance of ongoing development and in empowering our professionals to stay at the forefront of innovation in the renewable energy field. We are proud to share a milestone in our commitment to biodiversity: the 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 with GPS transmitters. This project is key to improving conservation strategies to help safeguard one of 📍Spain’s most emblematic and endangered bird species. ✅ This important initiative has been made possible thanks to the GREFA. Last week, part of our Procurement & Quality team attended the SNEC PV POWER EXPO 2025 in Shanghai, one of the world's largest and most influential events in the PV and energy storage sector. During our visit, we had the opportunity to meet with leading suppliers and manufacturers, explore the latest technological solutions on the market and strengthen our strategic relationships. We also had the chance to visit two factories — one specialized in the production of photovoltaic modules and the other focused on storage batteries — gaining valuable insight into current manufacturing practices and standards. Both facilities are operated by top five global suppliers, which made the visits especially relevant. Experiences like these allow us to grow as a team, broaden our industry perspective, and reinforce our commitment to cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable energy. Seeing so many global players moving in the same direction also reminds us how meaningful it is to be part of a shared effort toward a more responsible and conscious energy future. #SNEC2025 #Energytransition #Innovation #EnergizingtheFuture

On #WorldEnvironmentDay, we stand for a future where sustainable energy also protects nature. At Opdenergy, we have built a nesting tower to support the conservation of the lesser kestrel, a vulnerable species in 📍Spain.  Together with the GREFA.
