After 21 remarkable years, Cathy Harley, CEO of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada (NSWOCC®), has announced her retirement effective April 30, 2026. Under Cathy's leadership, NSWOCC underwent significant transformations, including strengthening its governance structure and leading the pivotal name change from CAET to NSWOCC in 2018. Her strategic foresight ensured financial & organizational stability, enabling us to advance wound, ostomy and continence nursing education across Canada. Corey's dedication to advancing wound, ostomy and continence care through both practice and research is an inspiring example of leadership in action.
