    Together with Ramboll, TES has completed a key engineering study for a new CO₂ export terminal at our Green Energy Hub in Wilhelmshaven. 🇩🇪 This cooperation marks a pivotal step in developing both our e-NG facilities and a dedicated CO₂ export terminal, reinforcing Wilhelmshaven’s role as a comprehensive energy gateway for Europe. The terminal will support large-scale carbon capture and storage (CCS), connecting to Germany’s rail system, gas grid, hydrogen backbone, and future CO₂ transport networks.     📍 Rauma, Finland — We are excited to announce a major milestone in the energy transition: TES and CPC Finland are joining forces to develop a major 500 MW e-NG project at the Port of Rauma (City of Rauma) through our newly formed joint venture, Luoto Energia Oy. The facility will produce green hydrogen and convert it into over 125,000 tons of electric natural gas (e-NG) annually, a scalable, drop-in fuel that can decarbonise industry and maritime transport using existing infrastructure.     A major milestone achieved today in Wilhelmshaven! 🎉   We’ve just completed the commissioning of the FSRU Excelsior in Wilhelmshaven, now fully operational and having received its first LNG cargo from the US with first gas delivered in the OGE pipeline last Friday. The project was commissioned by the German government via DET Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET), with TES and ENGIE responsible for the jetty infrastructure and the FSRU provided by Excelerate Energy.   The FSRU Excelsior strengthens Wilhelmshaven’s role as a critical gateway for Germany’s energy imports as well as enabling transatlantic LNG imports.   🔸Positioned on the North Sea, the FSRU will provide heating for up to 3.7 million four-person households. 🔸 And it’s part of a broader energy infrastructure vision, as TES is also developing a large-scale onshore terminal at the same site, with a planned capacity of 15 billion cubic meters! 🔸 The TES terminal will also include additional infrastructure like electrolysers and power generation to support local hydrogen production from e-NG, as well as a liquid CO₂ export terminal.   We’re proud to partner with DET, ENGIE, Excelerate Energy, and the local authorities of the Niedersachsen region in delivering a project the European Commission has already identified as a strategic cornerstone in Europe’s efforts to diversify energy imports and strengthen supply security. 🇪🇺 🔗 To learn more: https://lnkd.in/edBxvumv   #LNG #eNG #Energysecurity #Transatlanticpartnership #Wilhelmshaven #TES #Energytransition #Greenhydrogen #USGASEU

    🚢 Another important step for Germany’s energy security. Today, the Excelsior FSRU arrived in Wilhelmshaven, marking the start of commissioning for this key infrastructure. The FSRU that we developed together with ENGIE for DET Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH and BMWK will add up to 4.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year to Germany’s supply — helping to strengthen energy supply resilience across Europe. The Excelsior will undergo extensive testing over the next few weeks before being connected to the gas grid via the new WAL II pipeline. We are proud to have worked with our partners to deliver this important milestone.
