Microsoft has made it even easier for AL developers to debug and investigate code directly from Business Central by allowing you to select specific extensions to open in Visual Studio Code—all from within the web client.
🔍 What’s New?
A new “Develop in VS Code” action group has been added to the Extension Management page in Business Central.
You can now: ✅ Select one or more extensions ✅ Click Download in VS Code ✅ Instantly open your project in Visual Studio Code ✅ Access symbols or full source depending on permissions/IP protection
This streamlines investigation, testing, and development—especially for partners building on top of standard Microsoft extensions.
