Insights from the Recent Conferences
This spring, Apriorit’s experts participated in some of the most important tech and industry events around the world, from automation and autonomous vehicles to global innovation summits. Our team gathered fresh insights, connected with industry leaders, and explored emerging trends shaping the future of IT. Here’s a snapshot of what we experienced.
Web Summit Vancouver 2025: Innovation, AI, and Global Tech Energy
Lidiia Mandrovna and Michael Teslia joined over 15,000 attendees and 1,100 startups at the first Web Summit in North America. The event brought together global leaders in tech, business, and innovation.
AI, Web3, and the future of digital ecosystems were in the spotlight, with conversations spanning everything from cybersecurity to sustainability. The vibrant energy and exchange of ideas confirmed Vancouver’s place on the global tech map.
ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo 2025: AI, Testing, and Safety
Natalia Yurko and Elena Kovalenko attended the ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo in Stuttgart to dive into the latest trends in autonomous driving tech.
AI and software-defined vehicles were key topics, with discussions covering generative AI, deep learning, and sensor fusion use cases for automotive. Another hot topic was using simulation tools to reduce the need for real-world testing.
Safety standards and regulatory updates sparked conversations around compliance and validation, while data management challenges highlighted the need for better processing tools. The focus on human-machine interfaces showed a clear push toward more intuitive, trust-building designs for drivers.
The event offered a broad look at the evolving future of autonomous vehicles.
Warsaw Industry Automatica Expo 2025: AI and Cybersecurity in Manufacturing
At this year’s Warsaw Industry Automatica Expo, Maksym Itskovych , Anna Katrenko , and Dmitriy Savin explored how AI is reshaping the future of industrial automation. The expo showcased a range of real-world applications. AI-powered systems now support precise sorting, detect defects in semiconductors, assist with welding tasks, and even help monitor safety on factory floors.
The second day of the event focused on a more pressing issue: maintaining cybersecurity in industrial environments. Despite growing awareness, many systems still rely on weak credentials, making them vulnerable to spoofing, firmware hijacking, and other attacks. While the enforcement of the NIS2 Directive is still in progress, experts emphasize the need for immediate action – better access control, regular firmware updates, and employee education among key recommendations.
Updates And Insights from Apriorit’s Tech Leaders
This month, our tech leaders shared practical insights from their work, conference takeaways, and mentorship experiences. Here is a quick look into what’s been on their minds this month.
A Journey into Tech Mentorship
Maksym Itskovych , Leading FinTech Strategy Specialist at Apriorit, reflects on his two-decade journey of mentoring tech talent and startups.
“It all started 21 years ago when I began teaching at a computer science academy,” he shares. “Today, I’m proud to see many of my former students working at companies like Google and Microsoft in Senior or Lead development roles.”
Over the years, Max founded and coordinated a regional IT community of 8000+ members, stepped into commercial mentorship, and delivered talks on leadership and management. Also, public speaking experience and delivering talks at conferences on topics such as leadership, management, and more had a significant impact.
Today, as a mentor at Founder Institute Switzerland, MassChallenge Switzerland, and Trust Valley, he sees a common pattern: “No matter how progressive the technological environment is, like in Switzerland, all young entrepreneurs face very similar challenges and difficulties” But the most important final boss that needs to be defeated is themselves: their doubts, fears, and habits.
On the Ground at RSA: Key Takeaways from San Francisco
Maryna Prudka , VP of Engineering at Apriorit, recently got back from RSA Conference in San Francisco.

“It was a packed few days of productive meetings, new acquaintances, and long-overdue in-person conversations. We even managed to visit a few of our clients’ offices – and after years of Zoom calls, it felt really good to finally connect face to face” shared Maryna.
She also emphasizes a few insights that stood her out:
- Cybersecurity is evolving fast – and so is how companies show up. In a market with thousands of vendors, creativity matters. The booths and even afterparties showed just how much.
- Tech in Europe is gaining serious momentum. With DORA and NIS2 driving change, EU cyber investments are clearly growing, and vendors are stepping up.
- AI is everywhere. Startups are moving fast with AI-powered solutions. Larger companies are more cautious as legacy systems and compliance concerns are real, but the pressure for AI adoption is building.
- Log normalization is finally getting serious attention. With too many tools and formats, standardization (shoutout to OCSF) could bring much-needed sanity.
“RSA always delivers. New ideas, amazing people, and a great reminder of why this industry never stands still”, finalizes our VP of Engineering.
How We Applied AI for GDPR-Compliant Data Anonymization
Olha Kolomoiets , VP of AI Engineering and Integration at Apriorit, recently shared how her team tackled a challenge many companies are now dealing with: leveraging AI while staying fully aligned with GDPR and with no compromises for data utility and model performance.
The solution was a privacy-preserving anonymization pipeline built on three core components:
- Synthetic data generation that creates realistic training datasets without exposing real user information
- Homomorphic encryption, which allows computations to be performed directly on encrypted data
- Differential privacy ensuring that outputs are statistically protected from re-identification risks
This approach allows us to train and deploy AI models while keeping raw personal data fully isolated from the system.
